Having not been on OPP for some time, opening this interesting title on my first night back only to be greeted by an Anti-Christian visage like that which you posted is deeply troubling. Without asking, I can immediately tell your politics are with the loony Left because, although we may disagree on almost everything, the assault on the basic - even intrinsic - values of another American where those values are directly responsible for the freedoms YOU enjoy not only strikes me as self-destructive but mean spirited as well.

For a movement that criticizes the Right for being intolerant (meaning we hold onto our values, have discriminating tastes and understand the origins of our Rights), those on the Left seem to feel empowered to shame and disrespect those who do not share their hedonistic life style, their secular humanist attitudes and their Atheistic belief system which allows them to continue in the delusion that they are the center of the universe.

I talk to Liberals, Democrats and L*****ts (not always the same in beliefs) all the time who blame the Right for the conflicts created by the Left. That too often repeated comment demonstrates an almost dedicated ignorance of current events, historical reference and what makes our Constitutional and Representative Republic the envy of the world.

It isn't the childishness, the undermining and destruction of institutions and traditions by the Left that demonstrates our country's greatness. It isn't the misnamed and mindless philosophy of Political Correctness that reinforces her strengths. It isn't Identity Politics, the Politics of Personal Destruction or the D******eness of the "leadership" of the Democrat Party that can be said to unite us as Americans. And it isn't the mocking of other people's religious beliefs that makes you an broad-minded intellectual. You are a shallow thinker who attempts to make himself feel bigger, more important by denigrating others - including the single most revered and influential religious figure in the history of mankind.

Absolutely spot on. Its the reason, I don't really engage on this forum anymore. Thee endless debate on the lies we have all been fed. There is no debate, it is false. EVERY issue raised when stripped down comes back to God. Do you or do you not believe what the Lord has told us. Ultimately all the rest is deception. This is a battle for souls, and we've been warned. Yet look at what the world is focused on. Gods Word condemns them, so rather than repent, they turn away. It is a temporary fix as soon they'll be nowhere to turn, forever.
