The IPCC is a farse. C*****e c****e is a natural evolution of the planet. Man-made changes are minimal. Do not spend a penny to try and geo-engineer our world. The past five years have been the five hottest years, and 18 of the hottest 19 years have come since 2001. The average global temperature has risen about 2 degrees Fahrenheit (a little more than 1 degree Celsius) since the 1880s. That's about two-thirds of the way to the warming limit of 1.5 degrees Celsius set in the Paris climate agreement. Scientists believe if the planet gets hotter than that, it greatly increases the risk of extreme droughts, wildfires, floods and food shortages for hundreds of millions of people.

What about the areas too cold to do anything with now becoming useful??! They say our increased rain fall in the states and the cooler weather is a result of c*****e c****e. That is either a good thing or they really don't have a clue about it. As for man being the cause, that is based upon bad science and, as has been claimed, there really is no consensus in the scientific community about it.

The entire issue is more political than anything. The earth has had many, many warmer times in the past ans we weren't even around to be a part of it all. LOL!

My car is amassed with 4” more of snow and a -7 temp last night.. Our Rockey Mountains have over 250” of snow for the season so far.. The most in 15 years and enough to keep our slopes open into April..

“Unfortunately, we made mistakes here,” said Ralph Keeling, a climate scientist at Scripps, who was a co-author of the study. “I think the main lesson is that you work as fast as you can to fix mistakes when you find them.”

A major study done and yet they miscalculated or perhaps thought no one would question it???

Nice informative post. I applaud you for sharing REAL information rather than the diatribe posted by others because they do not research enough to see that this c*****e c****e hysteria is just a ploy to empower a few at the expense of the many.

I have made some headway with friends and relatives on modifying their views on the horrors of "C*****E C****E!!!". They are seeing that the hype is just that. However, it is hard because we are bombarded with media "c*****e c****e this, c*****e c****e that". Barely one word on the validity of skeptical alternative views based on facts.

Please tell me what do you think they are actually saying in their error? The integrity they had to admit there was an error, was honorable, while this does not invalidate the research, it rather supports it further, as the rate of heat is much higher and going at a faster rate, do you understand what this means? To quote them:

Essentially, the authors measured the volume of gases, specifically oxygen and carbon dioxide, that have escaped the ocean in recent decades and headed into the atmosphere as it heats up. They found that the warming “is at the high end of previous estimates” and suggested that as a result, the rate of g****l w*****g itself could be more accelerated.

The results, wrote the authors, may suggest there is less time than previously thought to curb greenhouse gas emissions.
