That was Ferlin Husky, who was born in Flat River, Missouri, in 1925. He attended school in Irondale. His biggest hits I remember were "On The Wings of A Dove", and "Gone". He was my Uncle George's favorite singer. 8-)

He released the record "Flat River, Missouri" in 1968.

your is a possessive pronoun
you're is a contraction of you are

There are many, many other semi literate misuses of words here but this is the one that really bothers me.

This particular grammatical error has been presented on M A N Y occasions. The individuals most guilty have not read, made note or attempted to learn the difference. If individuals would learn that usage of contractions is not grammatically correct in writing, it would resolve part of the issue.
