In the Name of the Father,
And of the Son,
And of the Holy Spirit.
Amen!

For All of America, and for My friend John McCain, which the Lord took into heaven, and in the same style of 'Praying for America--Through the Psalm of David' I present John's Last words and farewell:

“My fellow Americans, whom I have gratefully served for sixty years, and especially my fellow Arizonans,

Thank you for the privilege of serving you and for the rewarding life that service in uniform and in public office has allowed me to lead. I have tried to serve our country honorably. I have made mistakes, but I hope my love for America will be weighed favorably against them.

I have often observed that I am the luckiest person on earth. I feel that way even now as I prepare for the end of my life. I have loved my life, all of it. I have had experiences, adventures and friendships enough for ten satisfying lives, and I am so thankful. Like most people, I have regrets. But I would not trade a day of my life, in good or bad times, for the best day of anyone else’s.

I owe that satisfaction to the love of my family. No man ever had a more loving wife or children he was prouder of than I am of mine. And I owe it to America. To be connected to America’s causes — liberty, equal justice, respect for the dignity of all people — brings happiness more sublime than life’s fleeting pleasures. Our identities and sense of worth are not circumscribed but enlarged by serving good causes bigger than ourselves.

‘Fellow Americans’ — that association has meant more to me than any other. I lived and died a proud American. We are citizens of the world’s greatest republic, a nation of ideals, not blood and soil. We are blessed and are a blessing to humanity when we uphold and advance those ideals at home and in the world. We have helped liberate more people from tyranny and poverty than ever before in history. We have acquired great wealth and power in the process.

We weaken our greatness when we confuse our patriotism with tribal rivalries that have sown resentment and hatred and violence in all the corners of the globe. We weaken it when we hide behind walls, rather than tear them down, when we doubt the power of our ideals, rather than trust them to be the great force for change they have always been.

We are three-hundred-and-twenty-five million opinionated, vociferous individuals. We argue and compete and sometimes even vilify each other in our raucous public debates. But we have always had so much more in common with each other than in disagreement. If only we remember that and give each other the benefit of the presumption that we all love our country we will get through these challenging times. We will come through them stronger than before. We always do.

Ten years ago, I had the privilege to concede defeat in the e******n for president. I want to end my farewell to you with the heartfelt faith in Americans that I felt so powerfully that evening.

I feel it powerfully still.

Do not despair of our present difficulties but believe always in the promise and greatness of America, because nothing is inevitable here. Americans never quit. We never surrender. We never hide from history. We make history.

Farewell, fellow Americans. God bless you, and God bless America.”
---Senator John McCain, he was 81.

Our Father, who Art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy Will be done,
On Earth as it is in Heaven,
Give us this day, Our Daily Bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil
Amen!

In my opinion, John McCain was an old-school hero.
He was the Son, Husband, and Father, we all wanted to have.
He endured some of the worst of times and some of the best of times.
But he was always, American.
It is funny, that the word 'American' in today's day and age means such an awful word.
However, John never thought it was. John fought to make America, respectful and Great. He has accomplished that.

I remember writing to John about Obamacare and the individual mandate, where I said that Obama trampled over our rights.
John replied to me by affirming that he "not only trampled on our rights, but galloped right over them." This showed John's ever strong American will, to listen to us Arizonans.
I will never forget his letter and how his words helped me understand the otherside.

He did it again in the above statement. We are all, Americans. No matter what side you are on liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican, we share the same feelings and anger as our opponents on the other side of the aisle. We share the same freedoms and responsibilities. We owe it to our children to do a great job as Senator McCain. He is a true American Hero.

At times, I will admit, I did not agree with John. In fact, I would say to myself, "What is he doing?" But I understand that John stood for the right. Not "right of the aisle" but for all that is good and right in this life. He fought for the right, even when it was unpopular to do so. I will miss you, Senator John McCain. And I for one will stand on the same foundation that you have made for us. Thank you for your service, when you served in uniform. And thank you for being my senator. But now...........

as I wrote on Twitter, May the perpetual Light, shine upon you. May you Rest in Peace. May your soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed Rest in Peace. Go now, and Rest High on that Mountain of the Lord, for Son, your work on Earth is through. May Jesus, welcome you into Heaven

In the Name of the Father,
And of the Son,
And of the Holy Spirit.
Amen!

Obviously you were not in the Navy. John McCain was in his aircraft that was improperly parked by today's standards, and tried to move his aircraft out of the way of the blazing fire on the flight deck when one of his missiles cooked off making the fire worse. His efforts were not invain for he saved more lives then what was lost. Watch the Navy's training videos to understand his actions saved lives.

Actually the missile cooked off when he blasted his exhaust into the phantom behind him, there was a video that was up for a couple of years that the Navy used as a fire training video. His plane took a shot from behind, and he was seen running from his burning plane. I never caught any narrative about him doing anything that saved lives during the early days of videos and debate about what happened. The damage sustained was at $500 million or so, and the fire fighting effort was considered epic considering the decks, fuel, and ordinance that was involved during a live operation. The entertaining and prohibited little prank called "hotshotting" was likely the culprit.

A very high degree of secrecy was involved, McCain was t***sferred to his father's f**gship command ship hours after the incident. There were maybe 40 seamen who saw what happened, and they were debriefed and told that this was a matter of national security. Some of them broke the silence about what happened toward the end of their lives.

In well orchestrated coverup Snopes doesn't know crap.

The Daily Mail did a great story about your hero back in June of 2008 that anyone truly interested in knowing about this little liar can read.
You state that he was the guy you would want for your father, son or something like that !
I’m so happy my Dad was nothing like this POS.
You can try and lie about this t*****r but those of us who know will never forget what he did to the POWS & their families.

One of McCain's fellow POWs that was imprisoned with him calls that story BS.

I like the Dailey Caller ok, but I'll believe 2 American servicemen that served this country and were captured POWs and were actually there over someone that wasn't there and didn't sacrifice as much for America until I get some real proof to the contrary.
