That is just smoke and mirrors by Brennan. It's not about freedom of speech in the least...the REAL reason he wants to have security clearances is because he can make megabucks from contractors once he leaves the government job and goes into the private sector. Having a security clearance is a requirement for high-paying jobs with private companies that consult with, or compete with contracts from, the federal government, like Lockheed Martin and Raytheon. People with security clearances also have the ability to leak classified and top-secret information to the press. James Comey leaked information to a friend, who gave it to the New York Times! Should he still have security clearance? I think not, but he still does. Peter Strzok was FIRED by the FBI - still has clearance. Many others, too. These people no longer work for the government, go into the private sector and then still have all this classified information at their fingertips to do wh**ever they want with! These "public servants" come away from their government jobs as multi-millionaires, some even billionaires because they still have their clearances.

Freedom of speech, my a$$.

If he has a job that requires a security clearance and has not violated any of the security laws, a clearance will be provided to him. The clearances all come from the same agency and take very little time, after the initial vetting to re-instate. I have had it done at least three times, in my working career, when I moved from civilian engineering to government contract engineering.

Trump is the POTUS, snowflake, he can say anything he wants, he can even reveal to the American people classified information if he's a mind to, if he thinks it would serve national security and the people.

I recall his predecessor running off at the mouth every damned day, mostly talking about himself and how he, nobody else, was going to, Inshallah, create a new America in his own image. When something went wrong and threatened to make him look bad, he blamed everybody else; when something went right, he took all of the credit and patted himself on the back.

Brennan is a worm, a sniveling c****e worm.

Yes, but you weren't being considered for appointment to head the CIA. You probably were never classified TS/SCI.

The vetting process for CIA applicants can take as long as a year or more and can cost you as much as $25,000, depending on the position you apply for.

When or if they haul his ass into court and the jury says "guilty" I would agree with you. Until then he is just a rat and can still get clearances.

Did it ever occur to you or anyone else that the majority of the t*****rs come from the Spook community? Virtually everyone else comes from a limited access, information restricted community; even within Engineering departments where the weapons/systems are designed. Only the spook gets all of the information access and that year long, expensive, process didn't prevent Brennan from getting a clearance even though he v**ed C*******t.

That is a stupid and childish analysis.

I didn't have a security clearance under Obama. Was he silencing me?

You have to be dumb as dirt to actually think Trump is silencing Brennan. But you only have to be a liar to say it.

As I clearly stated.... It is an ATTEMPT to silence specific people.. starting with Brennan..

1000s of people with clearances, and he singles out a small number of people who speak out against him..

that is and attempt to silence these specific people..

Able to say and do anything he wants..

As he said last night, he could run the Russia investigation if he wanted to.. Is that what you believe??

It's clearly not an attempt to silence him, and you're not very smart if you can't figure that out on your own.

Brennan is a known leaker of classified information, a 2-time perjerer and a corrupt individual that wiped his ass with the 4th amendment as a corrupt government leader.

You’re right on that point... ok so that’s it and this concurs with my point about arresting these A**holes.

Still no arrests or draining the swamp from Trump or worthless Sessions

It really bothers me that I was so stupid as to keep my mouth shut about my clearance and what it was about. It is Brennan talking away and all those years I didn't need that clearance that I didn't talk about my job that bothers me. I was never fearfull that my clearance would be yanked if I did talk about my job but what I was doing was as illegal as hell but the Russians were doing the same thing to our military when we were doing it to them. Again, I really enjoyed being able to work on them since we did have clearances. I don't know when I lost my clearance but since I got out of the Army in 1957 I imagine it wasn't long after that but I held back for years.

According to the security laws Roy, you are stuck forever with the information you have that was classified. Even if it becomes public knowledge you cannot talk about it or disclose it without being subject to prosecution.
