permafrost, we all know how you feel about President Trump. Nothing you can post here will change the fact that today, President Trump is thumbing his nose at all of you naysayers. And I'd like to second that effort.

The trumpster seems to be stumbling around a lot today..

Could it be, someone else is as rotten and self serving as he is??

I v**ed for Donald Trump in the 2016 e******n. But it wasn't "My God, where has this guy been - he's the perfect candidate to turn things around in America" at the beginning. In all honesty it was my way of giving the middle finger to Washington DC and the federal government establishment. You know - those wonderful folks who told us they were running for office because they saw what we needed and knew how to make it happen. Then after e******n day they introduced themselves to the lobbyists and started feeding at the trough of graft and corruption like so many of their peers. They built powerful, well-funded organizations that helped to insure they were reelected time and again and faced no accountability to the people who v**ed for them.

And then a series of unexpected things happened. He clawed his way through the primaries, surviving Jeb and Ted and Marco. Then he beat Hillary Clinton in the face of withering mainstream media h**e and despite hundreds of polls that would have discouraged lesser men. Then, and this was the real shocker, he actually was able to accomplish much of what he told us he would. And that was in the face of a vehemently biased press, an activist Hollywood mob, a lock-step bunch of Democrats, and many establishment Republicans who never wanted President Trump to be elected, much less succeed - since it would rock their safe little worlds they'd spent so much effort putting together.

And so we're here now (pre-midterms), getting ready to see whether or not we can reinforce his ability to get Congress to actually pass some decent legislation and the legions of h**e, who were already at 11 on the dial are red-lining their efforts to derail this President. Despite cries of "there's no prejudice in the news media - we're not F**e News!", over 120 newspapers will begin editorially attacking the President on 16 August. Many in the media and sports entertainment world are going non-stop against him. Some lead demonstrations, while others just need an open mike to toss their verbal grenades.

Think about what is actually going on for a minute. They are convinced that they just need to be a little louder, a little more destructive, a little more "in your face" with their h**e. And he's still there. And he's still trying to push through the things he promised us that he would. And he's made mistakes. But be honest. If you faced the $#!+ storm he faces every day - would your performance be impeccable? I know mine wouldn't be close.

So I said all that to say this - it all started for me thinking "if we could just throw a wrench into the workings of that mess that is our government, maybe they'd understand just how much we thought they'd been failing us". And now I'm thankful that what may have started out as a joke to many (remember Seth Meyers saying "Donald Trump said that he was running for president as a Republican. That's funny, because I thought he was running as a joke.") has gotten to this point.

I think it's about time the rest of us grabbed hold of the rope and started pulling in the same direction so that we could not only keep our majorities in both houses, but maybe add a few seats in each of them. I think the President has earned it.

I had to laugh when he announced because I'd been predicting whoever ran the non-Establishment candidate would win. I support him because I knew he was right for the times.

Hey, Fit, well said, bro. Bravo!

If you see something called "permafrost" around here, just ignore it. It is just frozen brain matter.

Excellent post - I agree 100%. We threw a huge wrench in 2016, one that few saw coming. Those same people who v**ed for Trump are still out there and are even more enraged now than they were before Trump was elected. I hope conservatives know that if they never v**ed before, now is the time they need to make the effort to v**e in November and again in 2020. This is the time to say "I gotta v**e this time - it's important this time."

In a nutshell it was a non-g*******t prez or bye bye America. You all know Klinton would have irredeemably tied our fortune to the monstrosity arising in Europe and the UN. We are still on the brink.

Yeah, he stumbled up to Fort Drum in Upstate New York and signed the National Defense Authorization Act that boosts military pay by 2.6% - the largest hike in 9 years.

We were taken to the brink, and it will take a lot not to go over it, but little by little things are changing...

You just don't get it do you permafrost. We don't care what you say today. 😝😝😝 Why don't you pull up a comfy chair and listen to one of those heavily scripted speeches your favorite President bored us to death with. You know...the kind where every time he said I or me we took a drink and 15 minutes in we were falling down, can't remember our names, blow a 2.4 on the breathalizer drunk 🤢🤢🤢. Comprende amigo?

Sadly, you're right about that last part. We're just 1 admin away from where we were. We need to roll back a ton of the g*******t crap that was forced down our throats by Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama.

We won't go and God is the one preventing it.

He has a job for us to do and history has just sped up.

That monstrosity I mentioned will do what it was going to do anyway, but we ain't gonna be what they absolutely needed us to be at this time...their piggy bank and most of their muscle. Bummer, huh?

Now I guess they'll be consolidating power in Europe. All those calls for unity are turning to demands for unity...allegiance even, with progressive penalties for those who don't want to go along. Sort of like being put to the rack. "Convert and all this will end!" It will start with economic sanction of the individual...something that wasn't possible until the computer age. Woe to the citizens of cashless societies! They may already have accepted the mark.

After they figure themselves out they'll be wanting enforce the will of the "world community". They'll be marching to enforce Resolution 2334 before you know it. France, Germany and the Pope are dedicated to see this happen. Russia will want to help out, as they always do. Turkey and Iran will want a piece of the action.

Yep...we were asleep but no longer. It's good for us we are so "backward" compared to the Europeans. They tied their economies together in '58. That's why BREXIT is almost meaningless at this point.

"The Beast spake with the mouth of the lion..."

That would be English since England is the lion and English is the language of the internet, air travel and commerce.

Too late for the Brits...they're committed because too many of the devil's foul creatures occupy places of power.

Indeed...and if you remember in Daniel, the eagle's wings were torn off the lion and taken away to their place (the Revolution) they stood up on two legs like a man and was given the mind of a man (reference to a later symbol...as a head-up the time is near warning). We're the eagle and everyone knows it. The man, I suspect, is Uncle Sam.

In Revelation the woman (Israel) is given wings of an eagle and taken away to her place, the Holy Land. Guess who's protecting her now. Our embassy is in Jerusalem. What will we do when the Beast moves in to enforce Resolution 2334?

I have no doubt.

Good job!!! Well said. I think you're right. It's time for us to get to the polls just to say thanks for KEEPING your promises, Mr. President. When a Pres. keeps those promises (which is seldom done) let's just go to the polls and help him out. So important. Thanks again for a great post.
