Logic? What put us in debt was overspending under Bush and paying for an unpaid war, and paying for the recovery of all that, thanks to the efforts of the GOP. With a proper budget (not overspending) the debt should be decreasing under Trump and not majorly increasing by a trillion in Trump's short time in office.

Increasing our debt while giving the people who already are hoarding 85% wealth are now getting more while we dig ourselves further into debt, yeah that makes a lot of sense, unfortunately only to the grabbers on top who really have no loyalty to a country, they are the elites world citizen.

We are making less money now than 40 years ago and Trump talks about how we earn too much, Un F-ing believable.

Omg is it STILL Bush's fault?

Ifyou aren't making money and living well in Trump's new economy you never will do well. Just one of my portfolios increased by 28 grand in July. Businesses are booming and new construction is all around.

You definitely need to update your understanding of the national debt and where it comes from. Try this; https://www.justfacts.com/nationaldebt.asp

Maybe you should understand the increasing debt since Trump has been in office to about the tune of about 1trillion dollars. Second, you will never decrease the debt as long as we continue to overspend, a concept from the right they've never fully comprehended, which explains the two crashes under their roof, and the two recoveries under the democratic. Are we going for three for three? We've all been waiting.

Oh BS Mike, where has the average Joe, not in the stock market seen these increases you're speaking about? Yeah the stock market and the wealthy are making record profits again, so tell me again, how are people, like farmers doing? We just spoke to some hog farmers yesterday, guess what they're sucking wind and not very happy with Trump.

If they had more than 3 hogs they'd be doing well. And if anyone isn't happy with Trump's economy and Trump's accomplishments they must be lefty resistance anti Trumpers, who h**e America anyway.
TV repair men aren't doing well either.

I won't give you much sympathy when that portfolio you're so proud of goes back down by that amount or more. Businesses are booming because of their buying back their stock ... basic wages are still stagnant. At least in this area, construction isn't improving that much, and infrastructure spending is basically zero.
It's a false sense of security that you have. I'd check the economic forecasts and the manufacturing estimates going forward given the tariffs and other stuff going on. Good luck on your portfolios ...

Oh, and by the way, when that national debt that we're incurring at an astronomical rate comes home to roost, those portfolios will look really good when massive inflation comes by.

I do believe that you are the one who predicted each of 22 stock market crashes since Trump's e******n.

Pure BS, the people doing well are the people living off of their dividends and not middle America. I especially like the way the elite has gotten permanent tax breaks while middle America got the ol short-term plan, up in time for the next e******n, perfect. Trump's accomplishments and what would that be? His great new healthcare plan, unseen, I can't wait to see how that will affect our economy. Or how his deregulations will affect our environment. Other countries are forging ahead with alternative energies and working with other countries to make improvements, they're in the game, while we(the leader of the free world) sits out on the bench.

The environment we all were all winning in was during the Clinton era, and that was due to how we were taxed at the time.

I don't see this suffering middle America you seem to champion as if they were helpless creatures that only government can rescue.
Your solution to problems that don't exist is to take money from me and give it to your choice of declared victim. This makes you feel good, knowing that you can boast moral superiority for making laws that would force me to give the shirt off my back.
And most of the so called middle class pays no federal income tax.
Seems that you are driven by jealousy.

Dunno about that. My take home went up, as did most of my family's. May be crumbs to Nancy and Maxine but means better living to us.
