Does he know they are untrue statements? He must know since the statements are easily disproven which then of course means he is a liar. Does he not care if people see him saying his lies? Does he think he is above the truth? Is he exposing his vanity as someone not chained to the truth?
Does he believe the statements are true and he is somewhat delusional? Could he be disclosing his fantasy world; the world as he wishes it was? Perhaps he knowingly makes false claims to gain attention? The free press wouldn't report on his rallies if Trump didn't make several lies. I can't name any person living today in public or private life or even someone in the past who made false statements or claims as consistently and in the amount that Trump does. There is something wrong somewhere.

So many of his "untrue " statements are later proven to be true. Ya know, like the statement he made that his campaign was being "surveilled and wire tapped"? That everyone was laughing at very publicly? Yep, that one was proven true. Or the one about the media being biased and narrative driven? Also proven true. How about the one about widespread election fraud? Yep, also true. Hmmm do I see a trend here?

Yesterday he said he was the most popular Republican ever, even more popular than Lincoln. Of course there was no polling in Lincoln's day. Also he said US Steel was reopening six plants, not so. M-13 gangs are occupying the country, not so. Democrats want to give illegal immigrants the right to vote, not so. I suggest you start reading a reliable news source like the New York Times. Fox Cable News only broadcasts lies and half-truths 24/7. The Washington Post is keeping a tally of Trump's lies since he became President; the number is over 4000. Trump is a compulsive liar, everyone admits that. I don't think he can help himself. I wonder if it is the result of his being terrified of not giving his father the right answer.

How do you know 6 steel plants aren't reopening? And as far as his popularity? I think his comment was either tongue in cheek or exaggeration. Neither if which constitutes a lie.

The company said so. Trump could have been a cute remark, but he makes so many like that I suspect not. None of the lies you quote above are true. He wasn't wiretapped, the free press was accurately reporting and there was no election fraud. Was Trump exaggerating when he said he received more popular votes than Clinton? Did Trump have his tongue in his cheek when he said there were 3 million votes of illegals for Clinton? Was he being cute when he called the free press the enemy of the people? He is a defective human being. Doesn't his having a gold toilet, tip you off to his inner self?

I've dealt with many people with mental illnesses, few of whom lie intentionally. To them, what they are expressing IS the truth, it's just that their truth is based on a warped sense of reality. When Trump says he's the greatest dude to ever live...................he believes it. People with mental illnesses become quite agitated when others don't agree with their version of reality, accusing the naysayers of being unfair to them, proclaiming contrary evidence to be a lie and sometimes - stating that they believe the Government and/or the media is trying to ruin them.

Hmmm.... intetesting speculation... ever try dealing with obama's version and obvious delusions of "reality" and the consequences of those who dared to confront or disagree with him?
Thought not... emphasis here seems to be on alleged Trump derangement syndrome...
BTW... obama's intent to vigorously change and disregard our American culture, Constitutionally protected freedom and liberties and mocking Judeo/Christian values and standards therein while praising the Muslim Islamic beliefs and falsely proclaiming they played a part in the founding of the western culture of America... was a deliberate lie to justify his delusions of "hope and change" and hatred of America, our civil society and laws.... now how sick and deranged is that? We Americans thank God he didn't succeed!

Nothing Obama did has anything to do with trumps inability to tell the truth

What I'm trying to point out is 1 Obama is not president and if while president he lied 1000 times a day it doesn't excuse trumps lies
