More inclusive? As long as you are not Christian or Jewish, as long as you to not believe that a family made up of one man and one woman and their children is the best way to support a stable and good society. As long as you do not believe that people have the right to keep the things that they worked for, that the fruits of my labor belong to me, NOT THE STATE. If we are not included in the groups just mentioned then the "progressive" socialist Democrats welcome you with open arms.
Well, I think if you asked most Democrats, they would confess to being Christians (though maybe not your brand).
68% of Jews v**ed for Clinton in 2016.
I dare say there are some Democrats who believe "famil[ies] made up of one man and one woman and their children [are] best", they just don't think some other family types should be outlawed.
And I imagine most Democrats think one should reap rewards from one's labor.
I think most Democrats understand that some services are best provided by non-profit entities that are controlled by democratically elected representatives (i.e. government) and that those served should pay for these services based on some combination of services received and ability to pay.
As to "socialist Democrats", I assume you are equating Democrats to the brand of socialism commonly referred to as c*******m, that was Marx's dream.
The following is based on my limited understanding of Marx's thinking.
All value is derived from labor. The owner of capital (capitalist) invests their capital in schemes to get workers to create value by their labor. The capitalist rewards the workers with some of the value they created and appropriates some of this value (the capitalist's return on investment, ROI). The capitalists and the workers are in conflict over the amount of the capitalists' appropriations. The result of this conflict should and will eventually lead to the end of capital ownership and it's appropriation of value.
I think even for Democrats who accept the Labor Theory of Value, I daresay, most do not think the ROI should be zero. As someone whose entire income derives from ROI, I hope Marx's analysis is not correct, nor do I think it is correct (but then, I don't believe in the Labor Theory of Value).
