For Loki--just wanted you do know that it was a Multi-National team from all over the world who are in on rescuing those Tia boys lost in the cave--so far 2 boys are said to be out. But I'm not sure as I don't listen to Fox News...

For Blade Runner--just wanted to let you know that the number one Buddhist monk (number-O-uno) said a blessing at the mouth of the cave and is being given credit for the finding of the boys (a perfect example of irrationalism) so both of your thinking is in action here and being given credit for bringing the boys out...of course, having the best cave divers from all over the world might have something to do with it too--but that's just a rational guess on my part!

Oh, and I just heard that FOUR boy are now at the staging area and almost ready to go. So loki, your fear of multi-nationalism seems, so far, to be unfounded but Blade Runner you belief in irrationalism surely seems to be working--but you would have to believe in the wrong god but what the hey am I right or what???

Yeah, but it was multi-nationalism that worked and Loki was just expressing his fear of the same. But you are right--what matters is that Humanity does prevail--just so it's not of the secular type else Blade Runner will have a fit...

What anger? I was simply pointing out that Loki had nothing to fear and that, save for the fact that it was the wrong god, Blade Runner was proven correct that prayers actually do worked.

That I was and the reason for the title...

Blade feels that irrationalism works and Loki is terrified of Multi-Nationalism and thinks us liberals are trying to use it to take over this country. This thread was just a way of putting their minds at ease by 1) reassuring Loki that Multi-Nationalism is nothing to worry about and 2) for Blade that prayers--at least Buddhist ones--really do work! Understand?

Next question. Why MUST I know everything?

The answer is, if I JUST don't know something important, I can JUST figure it out! I can JUST ask somebody else, I can JUST look around and see what JUST seems reasonable, I can JUST Google it or I can even JUST reserve judgement and JUST remain skeptical and JUST wait until it is JUST reasonable to JUST make up my mind as long as I'm JUST comfortable with the idea of JUST not knowing everything all the time. And I am JUST more reasonably comfortable JUST avoiding delusional/magical thinking.

Because not knowing, and must knowing and just knowing is critical to orient ones knowledge to reality and find the correspondences, figure the ratio of fit between reality and my thoughts and well, then I have rational knowledge!

If its the case that I just don't know, that lights a fire under my ass. If I give myself a pacifier type answer, like "magic," and stop looking, I will stop looking and perhaps never find any t***h.

I would do the latter. BTW, for loki he was lambasting me for being a liberal because in his "rational" mind Multi--Nationalism was taking over the country hastened by us liberals, thou I don't think he was as wordy as me. Now for Blade Runner he is always going on about how Irrationalism is the way to the true light and us liberal secular humanists are just destroying the country for every one else. So I tried to reassure Blade Runner that Irrationalism does work, but not necessarily for his god, which I'm sure he managed to block out. And with Loki, the message was to go easy on multi-nationalism as it's nice to have other countries to depend on because sometimes we need help, or at least, aren't the only ones who can! Understand???
