Actually, you might be surprised to know how many people I know around here who do live off the grid - quite a number and that number is growing. We are rural, somewhat isolated - have trees, rocks, and hills to hide behind and canyons in which to seek cover. Everyone I know here and in Texas is getting ready for the collapse of either our economy OR our government. Either presents a horrendous problem for the nation, but if people can still think positively, it could be our very earthly salvation from the controllers. We may be harmed, may be k**led, but surprised we will NOT be. Wanna know what I think? I think knowledgeable people are better prepared for the collapse than are the politicians who are causing it and those who deny it can happen. ;)

Karma Backer- I couldn't agree more. I am not afraid. That should seriously concern the Liberals. I am prepared to hunker-down. Albeit, may be in a different state. However, I have not conceded to the Tyranny that has engulfed America. Not that I wish Harm on millions. I certainly do not. I know that Millions will have caved already. I do however, realize I am able to live by my own means. I know BO and every legislator in America would be hard pressed to confess same. How many Americans could go off the grid at this moment......? I am able to hunt, Fish, build and grow my own food . Without Government interference. Sound Extreme? Talk to the souls of Our Ancestors. They arrived on this Continent with nothing. I am reminded of Heston.. From My cold Dead Hands.. Hey! They started it:)

The beauty of survivors is that they ............ survive. Is that deep or is that deep? Ever thought about the possibility that those of us who cannot be brainwashed just may be reincarnations of some of those very ancestors you speak of?

Who do you think the extremely rich person is who picked Obama and financed most of his campaign? Try George Soros! He has done the same thing to Spain and and the Greeks. We may have a better chance of placing more people in congress if we can get rid of all the outside money and influence. I thought that donation from outside the US was already against the law.

You are right about money from outside but I think Soros is a citizen. I don't know about Obama and never will till we somehow pry loose his enrollment records from Occidental.

Soros has a number of blogs that he created and continues to finance with laundered money along with HuffPo that he bought for $1 million several years ago.

Don't you remember all those 5 and 10 dollar donations from strange named people that Obama got in 2008. All illegal as hell but since he won the FEC was under his control and wouldn't be checking on him.

Thank you for the kudos! 22 years in the US Army, going around the world and seeing other countries and people makes you wake up to how great Americans have it. We( Americans) take for granted all the freedom and good things we have in this country.
The saying, "of those who have much, much is expected...", comes to mind. Americans have become a nation of takers and have forgotten what brought us to this place in history. Hard work as a nation is what made us all free! Not standing in line waiting for our government handouts! We as Americans need a giant wake up call to bring us back to reality. And with the current President and his Administration of crooks and cronies, we are getting the call. But, if they think that we, the patriotic, true Americans are going to sit idly by and do nothing to stop their assault on our liberties, they are sadly mistaken. The people on this site and many others like it will bring back the America that we all once new. Keep up the building of patriotism and we will win this battle!
God bless the United States of America!!

Your last sentence says it all. The liberal politicians don't think it will happen because they are creating the perfect world. Those that deny it do so because they live in the perfect dream world. They are so stupid they will never see that utopia doesn't exist. When the bubble burst, these i***ts will not know what to do.Panic will rein along with r**ts when the welfare checks stop coming.

The Americans that don't understand this are the ones that live off the government teat. They are so ignorant and lazy, they either can't understand it or simply don't want to understand it. It all started with the b****s and poor white trash being paid for having babies and not working. Now it has been made worse with the Mexican invasion of this country. In nature, the fit adapt and survive and the breed improves. In our society we have a class of people that have no desire to adapt. This has been brought on by the government handout for being lazy and stupid. This brought on by the progressives buying v**es with our money.
This will sound harsh, but so be it. I think all welfare should be stopped except for those that are mentally or physically unable to care for themselves. The rest would be forced to adapt to survive.

It will be harsh on those who no longer will receive the government assistance. It will be harsh on those of us who will have to protect what is ours from the newly weaned low lifes. It will take several not so pretty years to thin the low life hoards who will insist upon k*****g and pillaging to take what is owed to them. Some will figure it out and rapidly adapt to becoming self supporting and will join our ranks. The ranks of us who have worked all of our lives or are still working to support our families and our lifestyles.

Don't look for the congress to make this happen though, because they don't have the stomach to do it. I don't think there is a way out except for the whole thing to go belly up. Once it goes belly up it will be the middle class 'haves" against the pillaging hoards and the elitist Marxist government oligarchy, we will become the bad guys for trying to defend what we have worked all our lives for.

Are we headed in the wrong direction, that sucking sound is us going down the drain. Go back and read my topic on the 10 planks of the c*******t manifesto. That will tell you all you need to know. Most of the damage has been done since Woodrow Wilson was president.
