Big Government cronyism is not capiiolism.
Capitalist buying favors from politicians is an act of a capitalist.
The tax laws favor the taxing of interest or capital gains over wages.
Have it your way I have assets so I don't really care.
I just think always wanting more for ones self over others is not the best way to live life.
Saving ones money once earned a fair return.
Now no matter what you do with your (You as an individual) money some one uses it for their own gain.
My income now is mostly from social security, my wife's small pension & a small 401.
I have a small on line trading account.
I have reinvested the dividends from some stocks. I show a small over all gain.
While having tens of thousand in losses from dividends I have reinvested.
I do know a quite a bit about tax laws.
I had a small rental property.
That became a burden on my time.
As the mix in tenants changed from those with some assets to those with little income.
At this time I have extra cash & not enough income & looking to invest for more income.
I have a daughter who is unemployed because the company where she worked when bankrupt.
If she would like to have her own business I will invest in her.
I have loaned some money to a son in his hose flipping adventure with interest.
So you could say that I could be seen as a capitalist.
But it all boils down to how much will I be able to want or get in return.
Let me just say that my expectations are modest.
I am aware of offers to invest it potential gains in high percentages.
If I would just agree to fee for the information.
I just don't want to pay some one who would see gains just by me buying what they suggest.
They all seem to me as Ponzi Schemes.
Why do I put this information out:
For one on a personal level I may be quite conservative.
On a political level I am very liberal.
So many on this site do not know or care what my basic message is.
I have put this information down.
Because I can see both sides of the issues better than most.
Who only look at one side.
There comes a time in each persons life to say I have enough.
For most of us that may come at a reasonable level.
For some there seems to be no limit at what they seek.
I see this having a negative impact on our system.
At any one time there is only so much to go around.
Then the wants of some use the needs of others to fill the gaps they feel they deserve.
There is a point where the rest of us have to say stop.
We have a way of doing this & it is called progressive taxation.
As things are now & how some would wish to loosen up inheritance taxes will further help the rich to keep passing of more wealth.
I can only say that each of us has to understand what the total impact of the tax structure is on all of us.
We all see some things is being not right.
We just don't see it all in the right light.
It is not a big change that is need.
For most of us who feel we are a part of the middle may not see any real change.
If it is done right the will be less at the top & more people at the bottom will be drawn in to the main stream of life.
Becoming vital parts much like us to truly bear the load needed to keep the system alive.
If you are a small business person you have to ask your self:
What is more important to my bottom line.
The person walking through my door having a couple dollars more now?
On another person able to afford what I have to offer.
Or that banker that has more of that money first.
Leaving me with out that customer.
It has been the job of those in the middle to be the producers of the goods or passing on the money exchange for those goods to the top of the chain.
That's it for what ever it is worth.
