A flat tax is would be regressive as hell! That is why the middle class and working poor pay a larger percentage of their incomes in taxes like excise taxes, fuel taxes, sales taxes and most of all Social Security taxes. That is why the bottom 40% of taxpayers pay over 9% of their incomes in payroll taxes and the top 1% pay less than 2%. And politicians b***h that Social Security is going broke when all they would have to do is make ALL incomes, even capital gains and dividends, taxable for Social Security. Why haven't they already done this?

Why did trumpy and the repulsives think that the wealthy and big corporations needed a tax cut when they wer already awash in TRILLIONS in cash and profitable. Akll that tells me is that politicians in DC are in the pockets of the wealthy and big corporations and legislate in their favor. The bottom 50% did not need a tax break, THEY NEED HIGHER WAGES!

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act for the wealthy and big corporations trickling down to the bottom 50% in the form of higher wages is a LIE!

Like I said the whiners you guys (j. mike, dave, et al) that constantly b***h and call me a c*******t or socialist because I don't think the wealthiest 10% of taxpayers pay their fair share while the bottom 50% actually pays a higher % of their incomes in TAXES. Why do the wealthy get to stop paying Social Security taxes on their incomes greater than $120,700? Why do they not have to pay SS taxes on their dividend and capital gains income?

Yet, you guys never b***h about the BILLIONS wasted and frauded each year on bloated TRILLION+ military spending.

There is a lot more taxes than just federal income taxes. I consider myself lucky but that doesn't mean I want to s**t on the heads of those (especially through no fault of their own) that cannot feed, cloth, house and afford decent t***sportation to provide for their families.

Not to mention the shrinking share of federal revenue of corporate taxes while they are awash in TRILLIONS.

Those are the tax laws. If you want to pay more taxes just write a check to the IRS and they will accept it. Don't scold the engine of prosperity for following the tax laws. You kommies always think that success is just one more tax away.
America isn't a distribution center or a half way house or a hospital or a charity.

The reason the amount of income taxed is finite is that the amount paid out to them is finite.

SS was not designed as a welfare program. It wasn't designed to punish achievers and subsidise the masses.

People that truly care about the poor are charitable with their own wealth, not with other people's wealth.
