I work in the restaurant industry. Servers are paid minimum wage. The minimum wage went up again this year, the new menus with higher prices will be out next month. We had a meeting at work last week. The owner said that if the minimum wage goes higher than $10 an hour, she will have to lay off all the servers and go to counter service. If it goes higher than $11, she will have no choice but to close her doors.

Costco is a membership store and their prices are higher it now cost $50 to join when I joined it was $25 then it went to $40
