I seem to detect a little disinterest regarding the political enlightenment I am trying to engage you in.
Cate, I need an intellectual partner, & our relationship is going to go one of two ways
1) either you will feel you are learning and becoming more and more interested as you do, in which case your respect for me will greatly increase.
OR
2) you will find the information annoying and enlightenment discomforting. Or maybe you're just too tightly wound to get into anything other than your own needs and wants, as in which case you will just continue to perceive me as trying to shove something down your throat. In those cases, you will only come to h**e me more and more.
So can we proceed here, with you beginning to answering the questions I asked at the end of the last email

by the way NPP had his cataract surgery yesterday, and had n problems. his eyesight is still a little fuzzy but improving daily.
