Since there are an estimated 30,000,000+? i*****l a***ns not only from Hispanics and b****s coming from the Caribbean Islands, Central & South America, the orient and western portions of Asia as well as those who gained entry into the USA with a lawful permanent resident visas both legally and illegally obtained then this estimate seeking both entitlements and welfare would amount to ABUSE of a system of rather than being an assistance. Seeing that your from Colorado and from the way you refer to welfare and entitlements and casually all the other freebies, I question your motives. I say Colorado because of the reputation that state has earned and by the attempts to separate along a North/South line with the good guys in the North and the South speaks for itself.

I didn't realize I owned America because I was born here. What are laws but something made by a man. I live in Colorado but I'm from the south, this is how I've achieved some of my opinions. This big ego thing about "I stand alone" or "I work harder than everyone else" is annoying and counterproductive. I suppose it's this "I'm an American, united we stand" while your state headlines secession. The south has earned a reputation of close mindedness and prejudice. Then acts like they're proud of it. Would you suggest , say a Mad Max thing, a dog eat dog world where only the strong survive. Are you tough enough? Are your family or friends the only ones that earned or deserved help at some time? Do you really believe that a person born in a s**thole ghetto has the same opportunities as someone born in the in some affluent Dallas neighborhood? The real question is , do you care? I have lived in Colorado for a while now so help me out. Would we be more for or against immigration? You know we v**ed for legalizing weed. Does this make us smart or stoned? How do you figure Colorado in general likes to give handouts? I could point to history and show that the south deserves their reputation. I stayed working for going on 40 years now , at some truly tough jobs, and paid plenty of taxes along the way. Should I also assume all these people are trying to leach off me or doing the best they can with the hand they were dealt?

If the shoe fits wear it!....The affluent in Dallas or familiar other affluent area that fell within the purview of intellect were my models being raised in a hard working blue collar "ghetto" (ethnic) neighborhood. By dint of parental encouragement, living within the philosophy of "Buy it New, Use it out, Make it do, Do without....spend less than you make, attending public school despite any fevers or stomach upsets (its warm there like its warm here attitude) reading many public library books and always worked after school saving my earnings. I earned a scholarship and traveled by bus and train each day to college doing my homework so distance didn't matter and money was saved by not living on campus. Sometimes I slept which was refreshing! When I graduated I used my savings and went to Europe each summer on my own and met and saw many wonderful people and places, learned to speak two foreign languages and succeeded in my endeavors. I administered my family paper work (taxes, licenses, documents by age 12 so my parents did not lose time from work which helped me deal with adults and came in handy since a child is innocent and perceives more than another adult in the same situation.......I became a success at what I did and earned advanced degrees, married and had children. I believe in orderly immigration with persons being granted a number and a form to submit and waiting their turn doing what is necessary for the day that would surely come to immigrate to the USA. No welfare of any kind was to be given since cash guarantee by a relative or friend would be enforced and children urged to learn English and speak same in the street. Deportations for felony criminal acts would be enforced.Its the old AMERICAN WAY with America being one nation, one language and one culture and all within one Border.
