Trump Double-speak

Trump stressed the importance of preserving the “life-sustaining gifts” of “our magnificent land and waterways, abundant natural resources, and unique wildlife” in a White House statement released Sunday. “It is our responsibility to protect them for our own benefit and that of generations to come,” Trump said in the statement, before praising his administration for repealing regulations meant to do just that and cutting acres from National Landmarks for Big business.

Pruitt outlined plans earlier this month to gut landmark fuel standards for vehicles that were designed to reduce carbon emissions, the nation’s top source of greenhouse gas pollution. The Trump administration in January proposed a plan to massively expand offshore drilling and opened up millions of acres of previously protected public land to f****l f**l developers.

In June 2017, Trump delivered a major blow to the fight against g****l w*****g by announcing the United States will pull out of the Paris climate accord.

Trump could be the author of 1984.

Only in your highly left biased mind and typical snowflake ignorance of what the true facts are.

The Paris climate accord should never have been signed, thankfully Trump corrected that error. The excessive fuel mileage restrictions were similarly flawed, so again harmful to consumers, and Trump saved us on that one also. Off shore drilling and opening oil/gas drilling leases on federal lands will help hold our fuel costs down, so more good thinking by Trump. Thank God we elected Trump instead of the drunken crazy b***h!

Show it is a lie, that is what a forum is for: an exchange of ideas, not insults.

There are books on the probability that "man made global c*****e c****e" is a l*****t, g*******t h**x.

One is "Inconvenient Facts: The science that Al Gore doesn't want you to know, by Gregory Wrightstone.

You have been inundated with reports from media, governments, think tanks and ''experts'' saying that our climate is changing for the worse and it is our fault. Increases in droughts, heat waves, tornadoes and poison ivy - to name a few - are all blamed on our ''sins of emissions'' from burning f****l f**ls and increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Yet, you don't quite buy into this human-caused climate apocalypse. You aren't sure about the details because you don't have all the facts and likely aren't a scientist. Inconvenient Facts was specifically created for you. Writing in plain English and providing easily understood charts and figures, Gregory Wrightstone presents the science to assess the basis of the threatened Thermageddon.

The book's 60 ''inconvenient facts'' come from government sources, peer-reviewed literature or scholarly works, set forth in a way that is lucid and entertaining. The information likely will challenge your current understanding of many apocalyptic predictions about our ever dynamic climate.

You will learn that the planet is improving, not in spite of increasing CO2 and rising temperature, but because of it. The very framework of the climate-catastrophe argument will be confronted with scientific fact. Arm yourself with the t***h.

Show us it is the t***h with something convincing rather than just burning up bandwidth to call attention to yourself.

JR, you need to end your Troll life and make some intelligent comments. Live here as a lowly bottom-feeding insulter or lead with provocative and insightful rebuttal. Be a numbnutz or a citizen?

Great! Thank you! Good points! That's what I am talking about: real rebuttal. I will checkout your sources. The issue is so unfortunately political, with huge money at stake, trusting any source is unwise. Getting to the t***h in this matter seems impossible. But I am not discounting your sources. I truly appreciate an actual thoughtful response. Waited way too long for it. I will get back to you.

What, no insults? You cut and paste, write content that us full of blatant insults, directed to conservatives.

Your the l*****t poster boy for l*****t hypocrisy.

Last, I'll give you credit for finding topics controlled into nothing more than strawman arguments, baseless, void of facts and or empirical evidence.

Master of the strawman

It's being called something else because that was too hard for the right to understand.

Call it what you want, the icecaps are disappearing, the ocean is warming, and yes the sea is rising which is making storm surges that much worse. Countries are turning into deserts that were once huge farming areas. Look around you and stop sounding like you can't believe anything scientists say.

You stated the most important problem with getting just the facts on c*****e c****e. Numerous charlatans are trying to use it as a get rich quick scheme, others with political agendas are using it to advance their politics, and then there are the millions of "useful i***ts" who just need someone to make dire predictions, and they're on board.

All I want are unbiased studies of the climate, and if it is a real problem, honest discussion of proposed solutions. At present, the problem has not been properly studied, and therefore in my opinion, the solutions are premature. A problem must be completely and correctly stated, before a correct solution can be found.
