Catholic Pope Francis made a startling revelation Thursday by stating that hell did not exist, in an interview with a leading liberal Italian newspaper.

In an article entitled "It is an honor to be called a revolutionary," La Repubblica editor Eugenio Scalfari acknowledged the pontiff's previous remarks about how "good souls" who sought repentance from God would receive it and then asked: "What about the bad souls?". Seemingly going against centuries of core Christian belief, Pope Francis said the souls of sinners simply vanished after death, and were not subject to an eternity of punishment.

"They are not punished, those who repent obtain the forgiveness of God and enter the rank of souls who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot therefore be forgiven disappear," Pope Francis said, as t***slated by Catholic blog Rorate Caeli.

"There is no hell, there is the disappearance of sinful souls," he added.

You need to read the whole article, at the very end they publish the fact that this is only a report, unverified, of a conversation between the Pope and an Atheist friend. None of it attributable or verifiable and denied by the Curia spokesman.

What I am pointing out is that there is a concerted effort to malign this Pope. Particularly with inflammable articles like this where they do not reveal the t***h until the very end of the article. Too many times in the past, his words haver been altered or twisted to say something contrary to Catholicism's teaching.

To be l*****t or Socialist in his politics is merely his opinion. To express views contrary to Catholic Dogma would be betrayal of his Pontificate because he is the Church's teacher. Even though he was not speaking ex cathedra, such words could lead other Catholics into rejecting dogmatic teachings, to their perdition.

Articles like this are an outrageous attack on Catholicism by attributing such words to the Church's premier authority on faith and failing to identify that this is supposition on the part of the writer until the end of a long boring piece of salacious drivel. It is a big lie, propaganda attack designed to sucker those who get all their information from the twenty point type headlines and not the substance of the article.

They are so prolific salesman selling the words of God to the public. They use the Holy Scriptures as their merchandise selling to the people as the people open their wallets put 10% of more to the collection basket.

But the money goes to the personal bank accounts of the Pastors. Therefore they don't only violate the Words of God but violate the Federal Laws.

Most Protestant Pastors have very prolific mouths. That is what they master to be lucrative and successful salesman.

Wh**ever money the Catholic Church gets, are distributed all over the world. Ministers, priests and nuns are sent all over the world to help the poorest of the poor. They provide medical care. They build water supplies, and schools for them. They teach them how to do agriculture that harvests or yields more crops. They help them build homes. Sometimes, Muslims k**l the priests even after helping them.
They help all regardless of who they are, as long as they are in dire need of help.
The most important virtues of Catholic Church is " Faith, Hope, and Charity.

Okay, let me answer you this. Jesus is God but he was crucified. And hung on the Cross. He blood dropped to wash away our sins. Most of the Apostles of Jesus, including Saint Peter, died the way Jesus died. For their kingdom is not of this world, but in heaven's eternal kingdom with God.

For me as a Christian, I depend fully on the Lord. My journey in this earth is temporary. And if we encounter hell on earth, we will live forever in joy of eternal life with Jesus in heaven.
