One of the biggest detriment to the welfare people is the work requirement all states that enact a work requirement see their welfare rolls shrink dramatically.

If they had to work forty hours a week for their welfare check they would likely run to another state that doesn't require them to work at all or very little. If this was done country wide then they would get the idea. If they work at a real job and earned a fair wage it would be better for them and their families. The work rule is something that nudges them in the right direction. Once they start to move in the proper direction then they will start to regain their self worth. If it was done country wide it would be a help but the liberals would yell bloody murder.

Maybe after all of the democrat states welfare rolls go broke and they can no longer afford them then the people will v**e in those that establish a work requirement to get the money. It's biblical even. 2 Thessalonians 3:10

My daughter and her husband were checking out of a Walmart store where they had a grocery store in there as well. The couple ahead of them was having a birthday party evidently and they had hot dogs, hamburger, buns, steaks, cake, and all of the decorations etc. After the bill was wrung up they paid for it with their WIC cards and then went out and loaded all of the food and cake and everything into the back of a Cadillac Escalade. Meanwhile my daughter and her husband paid for their food with their debit card and loaded their food into their Toyota Corolla and then they wonder why we get POD at them.
