I cannot say " I know or understand", what you have been through in regards to being locked up. However I do know what it means to lock oneself out of Gods care. I have been on both sides of the fence. Bad as well as obedient.

To obey is better. God pulled me away from a sitatution that only He can be the explanation. Everytime I see you share your past, I sense that in your own way you are giving God the glory for what He has done in your life.

Give Him the praise and glory, things will only get better. You have a strong experience to share especially with young people who are looking for a purpose, a plan, and a direction to their lives. God can and will greatly use you.

Tell us about your Higher Power then, Mr. Recovering Alcoholic/Drug Addict. Do you really have one? If you do, it has yet to show itself in the stuff you say.

AA teaches the changing of everything. "You only have to change one thing. Everything."

If you really have left your addictions behind by maintaining an honest program, where is that honesty? You have no problem calling other people liars, but what about your own? You don't sound to me like anything other than an ex-con who still lives in prison in your mind, and I've known a few. You push that line of rap like you still have to look tough to keep from getting punked.

That's honestly how I see you.

I tried to tell you how to directly meet your higher power and your response is to call that "humanistic hubris". See, that's why I question your claims of sobriety. Anyone from AA would have known exactly what I was saying.

Why don't you return to your introduction of yourself to the OPP, read that thread, and then tell us you never said you were leaving the OPP.
