Unless you're a house plant ...

Most of the gases in our atmosphere have little to no effect on our w*****r p*****ns. However, a few gases have a significant effect on the weather that we experience around the world. Carbon dioxide is one of these gases. The gas known as carbon dioxide has the unique characteristic of absorbing infrared radiation, or the heat sent to the Earth by the Sun. This helps to insulate the Earth, and to keep the lower atmosphere warm enough for life to exist. Carbon dioxide exists in the atmosphere naturally. In fact, this is one gas that even you have an important role in helping add to the air. Each time you breathe out, your body releases small amounts of carbon dioxide. Over the last one hundred years or so, humans have been artificially adding a significantly higher amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This has mainly been through the burning of f****l f**ls. What will happen if carbon dioxide levels become too high? This is unknown, but many scientists believe that there is a possibility that the Earth’s temperature will rise, causing many unpredictable effects.

Earth’s sister planet Venus is a good example of what happens when there is too much carbon dioxide in the air. The planet Venus is almost exactly the same size as the Earth and is made up of just about the same materials. For many decades, scientists believed that life might thrive on the surface of this celestial neighbor. However, as we learned more about Venus, it was discovered that the levels of carbon dioxide in the planet's atmosphere was much higher than that of our own atmosphere. The result of these high levels of carbon dioxide is that much of the Sun’s heat has been trapped on the planet, driving the temperature on the surface up to hundreds of degrees. Much too hot for life.

That's BS. I expect nothing less. it's not as much about money with me as it would be for many. I'll be fine. Tell seniors on SS their energy bill's may be going up 25% or more. Man will either figure it out or won't. When I say profit it is because profits and entrepreneurs will be the ones to solve this problem, if there really is a problem. Won't do us much good to have a little smidgen more or a less volatile climate if you're starving or freezing. Government force is not a good thing. When the government forced me into the ACA if I wanted insurance was that a good thing?
My premium doubled and my out of pocket went up 5 fold. But people like you don't care if that affected me at all. I had a perfectly fine plan until it was mandated away. So excuse me if I'm leary of giving my hard earned cash to another government boondoggle.

That's what ice sampling is all about... its not a few hundred years... we now have data 800000 years back... conclude evidence is the argument... scientists are now learning what happened between the ice ages ... The science modeling you reference was mostly pre computer age ... seems we have been warming for 17000 plus years in general & sea level has been rising ever since... there is still lots of ice on the planet to prove you wrong on sea level... it would suck if it rose fast... disrupting anything that heats or cools the planet is a major crapshoot & should be avoided if possible... to deny the increase in Co2 from the start if the industrial revolution is ignorant as is guessing the result... chances are pretty good the increase is irreversible so why continue if the end result could possibly be bad for human existence on earth... you do want a future for others?...

Where are the ice core samples from the central U.S.? Oh, there aren't any? Why? Where did the ice go? And, how did Greenland get its name? It's a huge chunk of ice, and snow, isn't it? Why would they name it Greenland, instead of Whiteland?

Florida is regulated... 25% seems pretty high... cheep insurance is only good or cheep until you really need it... one of the largest causes of home foreclosure was cheep health insurance pre ACA ... looks like we're headed back that way again... just don't get sick and all is good...

One of the largest causes of home foreclosures was cheap insurance? I'd like to see real statistics on that. I thought it was due to banks giving home loans to people they knew would not be able to make the payments.

More left talking points. My insurance was fine. I'm in the business so I know how it works and how to read a policy. My wife sure didn't need covered for pregnancy. Didn't say it was cheap. Just cheaper than the ACA. I sure as hell hope we are headed back to choice. You should move to Cuba. You look like you like being told how you have to live.

Illness or medical reasons made up 13 percent of foreclosures.
Divorce came in at 8 percent.
An inability to sell the house clocked in at 6 percent

He's wrong. Just left wing talking points. Subprime mortgages were responsible for about 43% of foreclosures. Love the fact that he thinks (doesn't have a clue) he knows more about my old insurance policy than I do. Yea great, my ACA mandated policy covers everything. To bad I have to pay $7000 out of pocket before I can use it. My wife's was $7000 also out of pocket.

Arch buddy... the southern shore of Greenland is the green part & its real cold up north... when the Vikings settled there it wasn't like Florida... it was like from where they left from, cold & grey... Greenland is huge & I bet real estate is cheep as hell & the fishing is good... just beware of Ice bergs from Iceland cause that's where all the Ice bergs must come from & that's why they call it Iceland...

A black woman who is a friend of my had a disabled son living with her. She couldn't get insurance for him so I told her to check with the ACA because I thought that was suppose to help people like her. Her husband was dead and she was living on SS. She checked in to it and told me she almost had a heart attack when they told her how much it would cost. Affordable care act? HA!

So where do these ice core samples you speak of come from? Are they a global sampling, or just from extreme Norther, and Southern regions?

Great reply E, simple and to the point, maybe they'll begin to understand that'it's not a conspiracy theory.

If I'm clueless what are you... ignorant?... left wing my ass...the subprime mortgage crisis lasted 3 years...07 to10 ...just 3 years of all the years that banks lent money for houses ...

Medical Debt Crisis
A study of 2007 consumer bankruptcy filings painted a grim picture:
62 percent of those who filed for bankruptcy did so because of medical debt
Of those with medical debt, most were middle-class homeowners and three-quarters had health insurance
For those who faced healthcare-related bankruptcy, many had lost income because of their illness or mortgaged their home to pay down their medical debt

Yeah, but you can get a mammogram, pap smear, pretty natal care, and free birth control now.

I’m so selfish. I’ll trade you some birth control for your gopher snake.

I think you got it on the north & south regions .... cause its warm in the middle... they sample air bubbles trapped in the ice core going back 800000 years... so if a whale farted in Antarctica 50000 years ago... some lucky scientist can smell it now... it was just a thought Arch...
