Results not being what was expected given the inherant issues of wind being dictated by Mother Nature they don't want to loose their butts later...

I think renewables are great but still believe oil will be for some time to come...

Yes, a f****l f**l but one that stands the test of time......

Please remember I am not a climate control believer, I believe the earth does what she does and we meddling in that is what will cause problems later or very well could....Example, altering the wind that may have an adverse effect causes the earth to cool quicker than it would naturally and not knowing how to correct it..Or the aresols we think need to be sprayed into the atmosphere to correct the heating of areas'....Didn't we get rid of aresols because they were so bad??
Is one any better than the other I don't know, what I do know is I will leave all that to the good Lord and Mother Nature and will do my part by screaming pollutants need to be addressed in keeping this beauiful Earth of ours clean and protecting our air, land and water through natural means, not fabricated by anyone.....
I must admit I read it as a for profit oil company... (show quote)

I don't conceder myself a greenie tree lover...I do have a sharp chain saw & like the smell & warmth of burning wood... However you don't have to be a scientist to see the negative impacts of burning f****l f**ls for electric generation ... My main concern on implementing new technology's is running out of resource as others country's develop before the next world war over the last drop of f****l f**l ... the R&D we invest in now may prolong the next big war ... just think about if everyone in China & India bought a SUV tomorrow ... a bit unrealistic but possible...our planet has become very small in the last 50 years...

Without scientific information based upon fact based in t***h, one can imagine the "impact" of burning f****l f**ls. But it is just and only ones imagination.

I think the most onerous part of those despicable green efforts is that taxpayers are billed for the foolishness and the dreams of others. Dreams that come crashing down as we hold the bag. Obama had numerous such very expensive bogus endeavors which he forced you and I to finance and that is just not right.

What ever happened to having private industry produce something we want and/or need?

Why should someone's WA scheming result in some mega money laundering effort?

Ok... lets assume your correct for argument sake & look at this from another angle... Our tax dollars fund our Military and R&D for private corporations for our defense... In the last 30 years how much tax money was spent actually defending our people or was it spent in the name of spreading democracy or in reality oil resource's & pipeline deals? ... Think about if we had a less aggressive energy policy in the ME rather than the path we chose... try to also think about not only the money we spent but also the human sacrifice ... Our country could have used those funds better here at home if we were more energy efficient than spreading Democracy in the ME for oil... Dick Cheney's 7 Arab country in 5 years broke the bank buddy...not to mention messing with Iran & Afghanistan back in the 80's... What's a young American Marine worth on the open market these days?...

Equating national defense to a money-laundering flim-flam dreamer's view of the "future" seems like nonsense for some reason. Dummy me, right?

We're discussing WA expenditures involving public money being slid into cronies pockets and you want to bring in 'Marine lives'... what the hell is wrong with you?

How Cells from an Aborted Fetus are Used to Create Novel Flavor Enhancers
March 17, 2013

For several years anti-a******n advocates have been warning that a new technology for enhancing flavors such as sweetness and saltiness uses aborted fetal cells in the process.

The biotech company using this novel process, Senomyx, has signed contracts with Pepsi, Ajinomoto Co. (the maker of aspartame and meat glue), Nestlé and other food and beverage companies2 over the past several years.3

Seriously?

According to former Vice President Al Gore: “It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis”. Have we 'been at the sauce again', Mr. Gore?
