Founded in 1866, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance to the Republican Party’s Reconstruction-era policies aimed at establishing political and economic e******y for b****s. Its members waged an underground campaign of intimidation and violence directed at white and black Republican leaders. Though Congress passed legislation designed to curb Klan terrorism, the organization saw its primary goal–the reestablishment of w***e s*******y–fulfilled through Democratic victories in state legislatures across the South in the 1870s. After a period of decline, white Protestant nativist groups revived the Klan in the early 20th century, burning crosses and staging rallies, parades and marches denouncing immigrants, Catholics, Jews, b****s and organized labor. The civil rights movement of the 1960s also saw a surge of Ku Klux Klan activity, including bombings of black schools and churches and violence against black and white activists in the South.

At its peak in the 1920s, Klan membership exceeded 4 million people nationwide. Today, it's unlikely the Klan could fill the aisle of a local supermarket, much less Pennsylvania Avenue, according to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League. It found that the Ku Klux Klan is down to around 30 groups and 3,000 members nationwide, located primarily in the South and east of the Mississippi River. There are a few Klan chapters that have 50 to 200 members, but most are considerably smaller, consisting of just a handful of members.

The reason evangelicals v**ed for Trump is because he was infinitely preferable to that godless witch he defeated.

The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) was formed by Democrats in 1866. The name is interesting as it comes from Greek, kyklos, meaning a perfect circle. Their first "grand wizard,” Nathan Bedford Forrest, presided over a hierarchy of grand d**gons, grand titans and grand cyclopes. It was formed as a resistance to the Republican Party. These people directed their wrath at both white and b****s, but they also targeted Jews and Catholics. At the top of their agenda was to bring down the Republican Party.

Although some history books have been rewritten to exclude their Democratic beginnings, most still contain data about the violence they exercised in eliminating those on their list of undesirables. (Much like the list you have painstakingly put together.) By 1920, there were an estimate of over 4 million members, still fighting to bring down the government anyway they could to include assassinations, bombings, burning down entire streets, vehicles, r**ting, as well as burning the famous crosses. They swore to continue their destruction until they eradicated those they deemed unworthy, and this included those who were Constitutionally elected to office. This bring to my mind what is happening with our Liberals of today, same tactics but now they have the propaganda machines called mass media.

In 1944, the KKK disbanded, although some localized groups still called themselves the Klan and raised their heads in the South in the 1960s, giving birth to unearned propaganda about all Southerners being bigots and prejudiced against b****s and Jews. In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson delivered a speech publicly condemning the Klan and announcing the arrest of four Klansmen in connection with the murder of a white female civil rights worker in Alabama.

I think they (the Klan) or at least their hatred is still around, but now they swaddle themselves in rainbow f**gs and condemn, yet again, the Republican Party and call themselves "Liberals" while the media call them "the young millenniums," composed of b****s, gays, and sympathizers.
