I would like to thank all those that responded to my frustration. E, Poppa and Penny. After serving 38 years in service of this great country, sometimes it's hard for me to deal with some of those that seem to have only on goal in life and that is to destroy all that is America. They have not seen the children, displaced, scared, hungry. Needing something to hold on to. They have not had hold a young man or women, try to stop the bleeding. And hear their last breath. But we did all that, to give people on this forum the right to express their right to protest. Disagree with wh**ever does not suit their agenda. Never offering any solutions.

To some things there are no solutions, just a shifting of the problems.

Place a decorative vase on the floor, even in the corner of a room, and someone could accidentally kick it and might break it. The apparent solution is to put it on a shelf where it can't be kicked. Unfortunately, doing so guarantees that it will be broken if it falls from the shelf. Life is like that. Every solution creates its own problems and all of those problems result from attempting to thwart nature.

Thank you for your service sounds so lame. I thank you for all you've done to help others and to keep America whole. My husband served for many years and he and many others feel your frustration. PLT Sarge, I don't know of any American that is trying to destroy all that is America. As a liberal, I am trying to call attention to what I sincerely believe are some of the problems that plague this nation. Among them are a small minority that is increasing it's wealth and power at the expense of the working people and middle class, a President that is unfit to hold that office, a r****t minority that is trying to increase hatred and mistrust against minorities, etc.
We may see things differently, but that doesn't mean we are not patriotic Americans, just like you.

Like Politicians, one side finds a solution while the other side finds fault. End result, no compromise will be found, there will always be a fault. Hence: every solution creates problems.

What we are talking about, is NOT broken vaces or china, we're talking about this nations sovereignty. When one party demands supreme rules according to their agenda [ Democrats and rinos in collusion ] our sovereignty becomes in jeopardy. It's evident one party demands to remain in power to fulfill their agenda no matter what it takes. Like the example of the vase, this is what we're experiencing now.

Thank you PLTSgt I feel the same way. When some go against America and Patriots, i get that knot in my stomach again, i understand. I have seen and lived the same as you described in post. 1 man alive i got wounded others are walking with me Sgt.nite time walks even days. They have posted i am trying to say something, but they can't understand me. Also called names stupid, ect. Ect. I just didn't want to go in detail to explain why I am this way. Most times i want to say so much to a few lefts here but shy back, i don't want to be dumb, stupid or ect. Ect. I am feeling i should delete myself from this site, but i learned so much i h**e to do that. Thinking IAM not savvy enough to post, so this maybe last you see of mé. Tthank you Sgt. An alternate view. In my case, I was 'excused' from what passed as home 2 days after graduating from high school. I had no one to turn to for anything. During the Eisenhower administration where we young males inherited 8 years of obligated military service, I thought my best option was to enlist in the Navy. I had spent 4 years with my dad who was discharged following WWII with 22 years, 8 months, 13 days in the Army so I had enough 'Army'.
During my 10 years+, the Navy was my family. I did what I was supposed to do, I was never shot at, never had to encounter anyone intent on k*****g me. Sort of routine actually and a good place to be as long as you conform to the rules and execute your duties. I feel like I did do my share but feel so badly for those who didn't make it back or did come home with permanent injuries. That is why it is so maddening knowing there are millionaire punks who haven't the first clue about military duties, earning a living and loving your country. For me, football is past history as well as TV and movies.
