I will not address this to any one particular set of people, you know who you are.
I am truly fed up with being labeled and insulted by the various News services, Op-Ed writers and of course politicians in general. It is obvious that many of you have no idea what life is like outside of your own little circle.
Of course you go out and interview, take polls and the like but really, you have no idea. I’ve watched as you (speaking of labels) yes, you people have systematically torn my country apart.
Education, Medicine, the very social fabric that holds us all together has been destroyed by you. Everything that has made this country great is under attack by you and your ilk.
Of course you are far more educated than we unwashed masses could ever hope to be. We could never understand the deep learning and knowledge that your kind has attained.
This is obvious because we can see the unbridled string of successes you have had in social engineering, diplomacy and all the other hot button issues. I need look no further than the payroll taxes taken from my weekly paycheck to become angry all over again.
So here are a few issues that perhaps you could explain your reasoning to me.
A gun is a tool period. I don’t have the free time or the inclination to hunt. If someone is so inclined, great!
If I am doing carpenter work on my farm I will likely use a hammer and a saw. Both are potentially lethal weapons and a danger to the user as well as any bystanders if used incorrectly.
If the Coyote is stealing my chickens or worse threatening my grandchildren I will use a gun to eliminate the threat. I’d rather hope the fence will keep him away, but sometimes they slip through. I h**e to harm anything if there is no need.
Domestic arguments and other disagreements will come and are usually best solved by walking away, cooling off and most of all by love and respect.
Of course we all disagree at times, but to harm or k**l another person is beyond my understanding. Thanks to the moral breakdown that, really, you have helped to create, well bullets are flying!
You say we cling to our religion and guns? Until you can prove me wrong, I will trust in a divine creator, and a 12 gauge to guard my animals and my family. At times there may be no one else to call. This should not be an issue with you, since you tell me we are nothing more than a mass of cells evolved from a ____? Well wh**ever it was. Be sure to let me know when you come up with the answer to that question please, maybe I’m wrong on this one.
Meanwhile I will believe in my “fairytale” God.
You say we are unlearned, stupid? But then I see you seem to be a little short on answers yourself! It is said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Was it Goebbles that said if you repeat a lie loud enough and long enough, it becomes the t***h?
Does it ever occur to you there is another life outside of your little world? Not everyone is really interested in all your ideas and theories.
Can you even understand the cycles of tides and moons, how do all the animals live? How do the plants grow? Where does your food come from? If the store and restaurant is closed – what will you eat?
Can you fix things and solve problems? Again, I’m looking at your track record here. I see a big no here.

Oh Yea and instead of trying to control animal our instincts you would tell me anything goes? You tell me things that are un-natural are perfectly normal? The lengths you will go to convince me of these things would be comical – if they weren’t so deadly serious to folks. Instead of setting boundaries you say follow our feelings. After all of that you come up with some really cockamamie excuses as to why these actions have undesirable consequences. Your teaching has destroyed our families and yes, in our ignorance or because maybe we got lazy, we have allowed you to train our children according to your wishes. Nice job!
You would have us all live in a plastic world. A plastic ,make believe world that you have created and of course you must rule over. A world where everyone is a winner and no one gets hurt. Well, except for a few undesirables. We can’t make an omelet without cracking a few eggs now can we?
Your entertainment and pharmaceutical industries will keep us numb so we don’t ask too many questions. No need for us to think for ourselves, no need to take responsibility for our lives. Your desire is to make us weak servants to you, the rulers.
Why have you given away our technology and our industries?
Why would you expect me to accept another privileged ruling class in this country after my ancestors fought to o*******w a King?
Why have you made my money worthless? And make me a s***e to your system at the same time?
I think I know the answer to these questions , but it would be nice to hear what you have to say.
Yes it is true, this country has done some terrible things – but why can’t you mention all the good things we have done as well? Why must you continue to fan the flames of hatred?

It's all about the $$! "Progressive" (liberal, and most RINO) politicians want to stay in office and continue to get rich and be exempt from laws they create as well as "rule" over the "common people". To do this, they take tax money from hard-working middle class taxpayers and give it (in the form of "entitlements") to those that do not pay taxes. In return for these "entitlements", those people v**e for the politicians that gave them, thus insuring their seat on the "gravy train" we call "Congress". It's ironic that these politicians use other peoples' money to buy their v**es to stay in office to keep getting richer and receiving perks that no one else can get. It's truly a "vicious circle".

Excellent! Am in agreement with your post. So much goes back to public education (both the schools system and mass media). Years ago self reliance and striving were portrayed as positive. Now we are programmed to follow and stay in the boundaries created by others. And to find a "safe space" when it all gets too much (that one still cracks me up).

So who's insulting you and how? You've pulled out a very broad brush and you don't really seem to care just who you paint with it. Are liberal Op Ed writers that much different than conservative one's? If you are tired of people who label you don't pay any attention to them--that what I do with you regressive's--ignore you. We all have our opinions and we all have a right to express them. What we don't have a right to do is force each other to listen.


Hey, if you don't like taxes then tell your politicians to eliminate them. You guys have the house, the senate, and the presidency. Don't blame progressives if you can't get them to do what you want. And just how have we torn "YOUR" country apart? Conservatives didn't start public education and if not for progressives you would still be educated in your out houses. As for "medicine" just what are you trying to blame on us? It would help if you could be a bit more specific.
