Who are you talking to? Don't you get it, I'm on your side. The only thing I neglected to do was add the word "need" in the sentence "a gun doesn't NEED to block another weapon to be defensive". I was refuting skott's statement that unless a gun is used to block another weapon then it's not defensive. I don't know why I have to explain this.

Logic, education, respect for each other , respect for human life, love your fellow man, honor , leadership, integrity, t***h, riteousness, could have then all with the WORD. But in America we choose to love our home, car, cat, job, self, food, guns, and then maybe our children enough to actually raise then to be responsible citizens that willfully contribute to society. God help us all and this great nation. An eye for an eye, is not a car wash for a life. Restraint toward anger and the evils that come with loving ones self over all other man is the greatest evil. Dont be afraid because the last guy to love us unconditionally was crucified. We can all help each other, it is no too late. More gun laws wil not change anything, the police are over worked and schools are unsafe due to LAW breakers....

Thank you, yes we all have been given gifts from god. The greatest gift is love. Sounds corny but true, and I beleive if man could look past the petty issue and focus on helping each other, we could truley change our world.
