The pardon isn't legal because Arpaio wasn't convicted of a criminal offense. His Contempt of Court is under civil law. Read up on it.

He was. Convicted of criminal contempt. The only thing done illegal was done by the judge. When charged with a criminal complaint Arpaio had the right to atrial by jury. The judge denied him that right and played jury too. Where Trump screwed up he shouldn't have pardoned him. Arpaio would have won on appeal.

Wrong, the pardon was fully Constitutional and well within the Executive's power.

Too bad he hasn't lived up to the temporary part. Most presidents would walk away and not go around to other countries and in a snide way undermine a president.. no Democratic Party would refuse to work with a President like this 100 per cent group who has threatened impeachment, death and anything else they could think of.

No Dept of Justice Democrat like R. would appoint a person like Clintons Mueller to work against our President after Comey told him that was who he should appoint.

It's more than obscene. The f**e news, FBI leaders, CIA leaders, Homeland leaders and dishonest judges and litigators throughout the country plus Rinos who refuse to honor the constitution are working against us.

If you don't agree read the Logan Act and see if these individuals qualify being totally against the law.
Too bad he hasn't lived up to the temporary part. ... (show quote)

What in particular has Obama done to undermine Trumps Presidency I'm not aware of any thing that would be against tradition Many anted to try Bush and Cheney for war crimes but Obama ignored them and made no moves in that direction. Rod Rosenstein assistant AG was nominated by Mr Trump and is a Republican it was he who picked Robert Mueller to be Special Counsel in the Russian Investigation. Not some Democrat. And he was Comey's boss. Rosenstein was doing the job of the DOJ in picking the most qualified and highly respected man for the job. By appointing Mr. Mueller, a former federal prosecutor with an unblemished reputation, Mr. Rosenstein could alleviate uncertainty about the government’s ability to investigate the questions surrounding the Trump campaign and the Russians. Mr. Rosenstein said in a statement that he concluded that “it is in the public interest for me to exercise my authorities and appoint a special counsel to assume responsibility for this matter.”

OK, if this letter is genuine and it expresses Obama's good will toward President Trump, then why are all you Obama worshipers not doing likewise? Why have you ignored your leader and launched the most vicious attacks any president has ever had to face?

Because in my case I saw through the populist rhetoric as a con job on working people Some one clued in Mr Trump probably one of his old buddies Rodger Stone that if he was to win he had to turn the rust belt red so he spent time in those states telling the former union members who have been left behind in globalism that only he could fix it for them and bring back all their jobs and restore their standard of living he made me want to puke listening to the con. A Narcissist like him does not give a rats ass bout the commoners he just keeps them on the string for their support. He appointed Goldman Sachs millionaires and billionaires to his cabinet. His administration has come down on the side of Business and against the workers in court So he never fooled me for a second he c***ts his contractors, doesn't pay them then buys a gold toilet. and gold seat belt buckles. His home is a vulgar marble and gold like a Roman Emperor. Besides I don't follow any leader I march to my own drummer. I made the mistake when I was a youngster following an ideology that I was persuaded to follow. After I grew up I swore to never again fall for a line

Presidents issue pardons for a wide variety of reasons. The highest-profile pardon cases, though not the most numerous, are political:
The first President Bush pardoned several officials who took part in the Reagan-era “Iran-Contra” affair, which involved the covert sale of arms to Iran to fund right wing rebels in Nicaragua. These included the former secretary of defense, Caspar Weinberger; the former national-security adviser, Robert McFarlane; and a former State Department official, Elliott Abrams. Gerald Ford issued the single most significant politics-related pardon: that of his predecessor, Richard Nixon, who had resigned as president to avoid the inevitability of being impeached. Jimmy Carter pardoned Vietnam-era draft-law offenders as a class.

Donald Trump’s pardon of ex-Sheriff Joe Arpaio stands out in this list for several reasons. One is the timing. With certain big exceptions—Ford’s pardon of Nixon one month into his term, Carter’s Vietnam pardon on his first day—presidents have generally waited until late in their term to issue pardons. Another was procedure. Although the final choice is of course the president’s, usually the Justice Department’s special pardons division prepares an advisory review of the merits of each case. This time Trump apparently just blasted ahead. Usually the recipient of a pardon has either begun serving time or has exhausted his or her appeals. (Not always—the Nixon pardon was to preempt any criminal proceedings before they might get started, and Caspar Weinberger had been indicted but had not yet gone to trial.) In this case, Joe Arpaio had been convicted, but appeals had not even begun. But the main difference was the nature of Arpaio’s crime. While he is not the first official whose offense involved abuse of public powers—from Nixon on down, others fit that category—his is the first case I’m aware of where someone is pardoned for using state power toward r****t ends.

The longer-lasting problem is that the nation is wrestling once again with its founding injustice: the unequal application of state power, on differential racial grounds. That was the essential logic of s***ery, and after it of Jim Crow and legalized segregation. Joe Arpaio is a symbol of using state power to maintain racial advantages and disadvantages. If you think this is overstated, please read the New Times account and the many references it links to.

Yeah, we know, Nik, it just isn't cool to love America anymore. It's all about the party, not the country, isn't it? That's the way the Marxists, f*****ts, socialists, and c****es think, that's the fundamental force driving despotism.

For eight long years we watched the president of the United States gallivant all over the world, bowing to prime ministers, presidents, princes and potentates and kissing the asses of commissars and kings, and all the while apologizing for the terrible things America has foisted upon the world. We watched and listened as he condemned our founding, shredded our constitution, criticized our faith, destroyed our health care system, raised our debt, nationalized our police forces, weakened our military (used it as a social experiment), and resurrected r****m beyond anything seen since the civil war.

Yeah, we watched and listened as he promised that, INSHALLAH! he was going take America down a hundred pegs, fundamentally t***sform our nation, and make it no more exceptional than Cuba or Venezuela or France or North Korea. And, we cringed as he praised Islam, befriended our enemies and rejected our friends. We watched astonished as he and his minions played the dangerous games in the Middle East, even assisting in any way he could to see that the world's premier state sponsor of terrorism would one day be armed with nuclear weapons.

Yeah, Nik, it just isn't cool to love America anymore. F*ck you, your party, and the serpent that hatched you.

The t***sition of power seemed to go graciously. Have you considered that the turmoil we are witnessing today is the doing of the Clintons and George Soros? I just finished watching a movie tonight on YouTube, exposing George Soros behind the neo-N**i party rising in western Ukraine:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzM4iVm4dRc
Ukraine on fire - Oliver Stone

It's a long movie, a long history of the Ukraine and its switching back and forth between alliances with Poland, N**i Germany and Stalinist Soviet Union, up to the present civil war. These Ukrainian neo-n**is use the same slogans, f**gs, and tactics in inciting r**ts as the "Unite the Right" operations of Jason Kessler in Charlottesville.

What Oliver Stone does not tell his audience is that the WWII Ukrainian N**i sympathizer, Stephen Bandera, that Soros picked as the new civil war's martyr mascot, was a KGB double agent. Obama's CIA, both Secretaries of State Clinton and Kerry, along with Senator John McCain, backed the "rightwing" Ukrainian e******n of Petro Poroshenko who sought admittance into the European Union. Meanwhile, Putin commandeered Eastern Ukraine and the Crimea's naval base. Former Ukrainian president Yanukovych, who suffered a military c**p, beat it to Moscow.

Bombshell Connection Between Charlottesville, Soros, CIA
Alex Jones Infowars speaks of Oliver Stone film, Ukraine on Fire, and same symbolism of "blood & soil" chants are the same in Virginia neo-n**is'

These Soros pawns, Black L***s M****r, A****a, and Occupy Wall Street are being used to topple democracies under rule of law by the common man. When will the fools wake up?

I call bulls**t. For me, country comes before party. Obama respected other world leaders, and vice versa, unlike Trump, who has cut ties with them in favor of cozying up to autocrats with dismal human rights records. He created a healthcare system which, far from perfect, at least created the framework of a workable system which Trump has relentlessly tried to dismantle.

It wasn't Obama who fomented r****t violence. It was Trump, rallying to the support of the "very nice people" in the vanguard of w***e s*********ts, neo- N**is and KKK members. It was Trump who offered $110 million in arms to the Saudis, with their deplorable human rights record.

I love America. I am a true patriot. Someone needs to teach Trump that word.
