I wonder why ammo wasn't short at most gun dealers till that several billion by DHS. Of course, you don't want to see that it took some time for manufacturers to catch up with federal demand, do you?

You left leaners are all the same about this subject and I hope you never get your way about their confiscation of our guns because I don't want to have to shoot any local policemen who come for mine. Actually, I am not worried about local since our local sheriff is part of a family that has an arsenal at the family house that many consider the headquarters for the fight against progressives and their push in this county.

Can you imagine. They would be printing more lost gun forms than dollar bills.

Perhaps you can share with us where you gained this great insight about half of the Republicans - was it MSNBC or perhaps it was the DailyKos.

Meanwhile, what happened in the 1860's was something that wouldn't likely repeat itself in the same form - is it became a contest between the conservatives and liberals, don't be too sure where most of those in uniform might be leaning the most.

I don't boat but I won't admit anything to them unless is traveling at the speed of a speeding bullet, if they come after mine.

The first 2 NRA news letters were out right false, there was no talk of gun control at that point but gun and ammo sales skyrocketed. This was by design and well executed leading to the paranoia we see today... Only fools think you need an arsenal to defend yourself , untrained fools with more money than brains are inherently dangerous.

I wonder where you heard that news about NRA letters. I don't get any of them but then I don't read at Media Matters or Think Progess, either. Did you get your info from the actual letters or from some left leaning source?

I bought my first handgun on December 11, 2012 and the mass murder of school children occurred three days later. Now my supplier had plenty of ammo till right after the huge buy by DHS and for a short time he was short on ammo but that didn't last long. He always said that when the government got theirs we would be able to get ours and he was never short for long.

Where did you get that idea?
