Those extremists tend to be left leaners and soldiers who have to take orders from them. I wonder when they will manage to take all the guns in Ohio. Maybe, never without some of their NGs getting shot.
Considering that half of all Republicans believe that a "citizens" armed i**********n may soon be necessary, it is only prudent that the U.S. government would be prepared. Its the government's job to stop domestic treason and terrorism. I think they made that pretty clear in the 1860s.

true, but at the same time that proves that the government is no longer for the people.
they are PREPARING for this.
THEY have made the line between citizen and leader so thick, citizens are no longer in charge.
this happened a long time ago, yes, but it has escalated.
this is no longer a government for the people.
revolution? hope not.
because I live in Washington where there is practically no guns allowed. only hand guns and bolt action rifles and shot guns
then again I wouldn't mind buying a kar98k or a moisin
I have heard they are quite reliable
already have a hunting rifle though. don't shoot it, no reason to, hunting is too hectic to set up over here, too many regulations.

From what I was able to get from the article the Ohio National Guard unit was participating in a worst case scenario drill so as to enhance their emergency preparedness. If they had instead claimed a radical Left wing group was up to no good there would have been no flap at all.

It's all just flapping anyway, of the lips. However, someone in Gov. circles is beginning to realize the American people are about "Fed" up.
I get sick and tired of hearing about government plans to suspend the Constitution or take over. The Fox News conservatives will say anything no matter how crazy or stupid it sounds, knowing that there are people that actually will listen.

http://www.conventionofstates.com/"Many people dont know that there are two methods to propose amendments to the Constitution, both found under Article V.
1.Congress can propose amendments to the Constitution at any time if 2/3 of both houses of Congress agree.
2.A Convention of States can propose amendments if 2/3 of states submit applications for such a convention. These applications must all deal with the same issue (i.e., limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government)."
If I'm not mistaken someone, Mark Levin I believe, is trying to "drum up business" for #2. I don't remember what amendment(s) though.
I decided to look it up. Yes it is Mark Levin...

In the second case, there has been no constitutional convention since the original . The reason for this is that people are scared that a constitutional convention could replace some or all of the US Constitution, as they replaced the Articles of Confederation. A proposed amendment doesn't have to reduce the power of the federal government. It can increase that power.

You said that one just the way I see it. Who knows how many progs may get appointed to that convention and what they would certainly do?
All I have seen is the NRA starting rumors of 2nd Amendment rights issues from day one 09, There have been 3 big pushes causing ammo prices to sky rocket and availability to diminish.... this has caused a knee jerk reaction for the Feds to stock pile ammo and prep for domestic terrorism... guess who has profited from this aggressive marketing ... in America it is always about the money.
