There have only been 2 great Presidents since WW 2 Truman and Reagan. You may notice one was from each party.

I'm not sure what this incoherent sentence means-and I probably don't want to know.

But you have the gall to criticize others for 'ranting"?

Wrong again Einstein. We can take the Senate back and keep him from doing more harm to America. We can also then hold Senate hearings on all of the Obama scandals since the President has managed to stone wall all of the House hearings.

Actually, the military buildup attributed to Reagan started in the third year of Carter's administration. Take a look at military expenditures during 1978-1988.

As for morals, the administration of Ronald Wilson "deficits don't matter" Reagan saw more of it's officials indicted for crimes than any other administration in the history of the United States. George HW Bush pardoned them all. Even Nixon's band of not-so-merry thieves didn't beat Reagan for indicted and convicted administration members.

And, yes, there's the deaths of 241 marines left without ammo in their rifles due to rules of engagement handed down directly from the White House. Or arms trading with Iran despite a US and International arms embargo against iran. Or the mining of Nicaraguan harbors k*****g West Germany sailors trading with the government of that nation. And so on.

I've never gotten this "moral" Reagan picture. He was third-rate actor who, as president of the screen actor's guild, took money from the studios to settle a labor action by the guild in favor of the studios. He c***ted on his wife, Jane Wyman, and eventually married nancy Davis five months before she gave birth to their first child.

Reagan was a Hollywood hack who made bad war films during WWII yet claimed, falsely, to have been in Germany when the deaths camps were liberated (in a conversation with then Israeli PM M. Begin, who knew Reagan was full of s**t but didn't mention it to Reagan.)

Carter was a Sunday school teacher who lived his faith, and has continued to do so since leaving the presidency. Carter also was a Navy officer who served on nuclear subs and was a protege of Adm. Zumwalt, father of the USA's nuclear sub program.

Jimmy Carter told Americans "we must start living within our means."

Ronald Wilson "deficits don't matter" Reagan said: "you're Americans; you can have anything you want."

The Status of Forces agreement that withdrew US troops from Iraq was signed by George W.Bush in 2008 and carried out by Barak H. Obama in 2009.

You speak of moral decline as if it began on Jan. 21, 2009. The only moral decline I see is the h**e spewed by the rabid right through half-t***hs and outright lies and the de-facto minority rule by Republicans in the Senate by profligate use of the filibuster, more than all previous Senates in the history of the nation. Including Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell's filibuster of his own bill, a first in the history of the nation.

Moral decline? Yeah, it's Obama's fault.

There are many vast differences in Reagan and Obama.
1. Reagan loved America. Obama doesn't.
2. Reagan was gracious. Obama isn't. Doesn't know how.
3. Reagan's top priority as President was the US. Obama's top priority is Obama.
4. Reagan was a natural and trained speaker. Obama is a trained "community organizer", AKA "agitator".
5. Reagan was honorable. Obama isn't.

I could go on and on, but no need. Everyone knows what Obama is.

Go ahead, take back the Senate....then you are again stymied because the President has veto power. Go ahead and impeach him...then you have Biden to contend with.

You morons have backed yourselves into a corner and there is no escape. You have to live with 3 more years of Obama, then eight years of Hillary Clinton. By then a lot of you old r****t h**e mongers will be dead and gone and your more tolerant, accepting, and educated kids and grandkids will be more informed about what is actually happening in this country, and casting v**es based on logic and common sense.

So, crawl back into your survival bunker, fly your stupid "Don't Tread on Me" f**g on the outside, clean and polish your guns, count your ammunition, stock up on your Depends, and ensure you have a sufficient supply of batteries to power your AM radio to listen to rush limpbaugh. I agree with everything except-the right Republicans already have control the Senate through de-facto minority rule. By invoking cloture or a filibuster more times than all previous senates combined, the Senate GOP has stifled up-down majority v**es on everything, including simple debate on an issue.

By doing so, they have shown their contempt for the democratic institutions and have effectively stymied any action at all.

Don't forget Senate GOP Minority Leader Mitch McConnell became the first senator in history to filibuster his own bill. When it looked like the bill might pass, which wasn't McConnell's intention, he filibustered it. The bill had been floated simply as a way to get Democrats to say no and when it looked like Democrats agreed., he filibustered it.

What to expect from a senator who once proclaimed that the number one priority of the Republicans in Congress was to "make sure Barak Obama is a one-termpresident. Not act on behalf of their constituents, not work for the betterment of the USA, but a mere partisan gain.

So they already have control. Heavens knows what they do if they actually got a majority.

Glad to see not everybody on this forum is a rabid rightie and serial Obama h**er.
