More like, messing with you,, in a collegiate fashion,,,We can only be straight for a short while,,, then we go astray!!

Funny thing though,,, I never see the left side being genuinely friendly, and or joking,,, maybe they just never do it around me.

The right or as we find from this thread more center-right,,, seems to have a good sense of humor about most things including themselves.... they seem to be "funner" to me..

Okay, thought I had something of a detente going on with both of you but now see you were both just playing me. Fine. It hurts but I can live with it.

What made you think I was referring to tonight? Chill. It was a few nights ago and had to do with something related to gun control. My reading comprehension never takes a vacation; it merely, at times, picks certain resorts.

While it is obvious that AuntiE can certainly speak for herself, I feel obligated to interject here -- and comment -- sometimes, I HAVE NO idea what concept you are chatting about and sometimes it leads me to believe I am really dense, but now, it has given AuntiE pause and I see why -- you never said anything about your comment being from several nights ago. I went back and looked as well. Ya gotta be more concise, donchaknow, and let people know what you're referencing, chapter and verse. BTW, I like you too, but you can be really confusing.

Funny, I see the left as rather more humorous but thought of us as friends nonetheless. My naivete is showing.

If he was in a snit about it the other night, it would seem the adult/big boy thing to bring it up then. He is probably going to be even more snitty, because I am talking about him in third person. I DO NOT CARE! As much as I like rumitoid, his little hurt feeling tirades are becoming tiresome. They almost always end up being my fault. The time will come when it will be the wrong week, day and time and the site will see what fury can be wrought. :hunf:

Agreed, on both being more concise as well as being confusing. I venture to improve.

Third person again; I am present. I did bring it up then. Friends look to heal, not rub salt in the wounds. If this is your response, why expect me to understand when you are not up to snuff? You share your difficulties at being 100%, mine are not as good? Berate me for feeling hurt instead of asking how it can be resolved? Make feelings a weakness and wrong? Friendship is tiresome if it means dealing with differences?

I did the third person intentionally. Did you not pick up on that. I actually rarely publicly share difficulties. I have shared through PMs with you. I am berating you because you totally miscommunicated the issue by implying it was something I did this evening. I am currently dipping the sk**let in stainless steel. By the time it is complete, your head will not even dent it. What is tiresome is you let things fester then attack. With your education and background, you should know better. Has it occurred to you you may be creating issues with such a habit. If you post a comment about something I have done to offend and I do not respond, you know how to get in touch with me. Try it instead of the around the tree, bush, and yard days later. :hunf:

I considered twice; however, will only strike you once. You will not be required to turn your head for another.

I repeat. You know how to get in touch with me. It is why you have the means. Use it.

You totally misperceive how I feel about you. I would not expend this lengthy of time on this matter if you were not important and relevant. ((((H U G )))).

Thank you. I deeply appreciate you as a person. Not perfect, yet perfect in way: honest. Cannot beat that, no matter how it may hurt or disconcert. Forthright does not get as much appreciation under present PC rules as it should and needs. My flaw goes way back: being talked about as if I were not there. Someone I feel is close discussing me as if I were just a thing under a microscope. I will work on this defect.

Have you considered sometimes the talking about you may be an explaining you. Example, I may say, even if you are online and the same thread, to someone, "Rumitoid does not like Coca Cola. He only likes root beer." Am I talking about you as if you are not there, yes. You have to consider context. My context of talking about you "as if" you "were just a thing" would be using a plural pronoun, they/their. Using a personal pronoun, he/ his, removes it from the realm of "just a thing". There is a reason it is called a singular personal pronoun. Oops, were you looking for a grammar lesson?

My take? Talk to me about it, not about me to someone else. But this is America. Do what you want. In real life I am practically invisible anyway. That I never quite get used to being treated this way is no reason for you to change your modus operandi. Besides, being an object may help me be more objective in my view of myself, so thank you.

"playin' possum" is what they call it.

Try getting a .22 and k*****g squirrel. Now THAT'S good eating. A little more difficult to k**l and a real pain to skin. But easier to cook (just get a hickory stick and roast it over an open fire) and way much better on the taste buds.
