How so? I'm right out in the open just like you. Plus I don't have awesome night vision. Cats do. That's creepy.

It's nice to see republicans aren't r****t anymore.
Must be why they continue to win the minority v**e...

Liberals love to point out that Republicans are "greedy" but they should look in the mirror. Our leader, the POTUS, is the greediest president in history. He continues to act like he's campaigning for e******n and has raised more than any politician ever. He spends more of the taxpayers money than anyone on lavish vacations. He has never seen a tax he didn't like and he constantly touts how he is for the little guy and the middle class. All the while screwing them and making the 1% richer and himself along with it. At least the Conservatives use their greed to help create jobs and make life better for everyone.

There's an annual contest at Bond University, Australia, calling for the
most appropriate definition of a contemporary term.
This year's chosen term was "political correctness".
The winning student wrote:

Slander was one of the 1st terms designated to legally limit free speech.
Then came political correctness which was implimented to shame us into limiting our free speech
Now they label you extremist or terrorist and proclaim you enemy number 1 if you try and uncover, speak or broadcast the t***h.
One of our most revered rights can now get you tossed in a hole where no one will ever find you.
I fear for our future.

The Republican greed, I get. Cats...not so much. Ours eats very little food.
We name our cats with welfare class names! Every morning more show up at the food pan! I claim 3, city people dump them out here and like the welfare class they can always find a handout! But nature rules out here! The coyotes (courtesy of the Audabon Society) clean up, like most liberals they get into our garbage! And eat cats!! Both Willy and Trevon dissappeared ! And Tyrone is limping! That's how I get practice with the rifle, My 3 gen sees as good as the coyotes! And runs faster!

I'm Shocked... Shocked... That Such A Politically IN-Correct Answer Was The Winner Simply Because It Was 100% Accurate...
By being PC those who are doing stupid things believe we approve of what they are doing. When I was young, lots of kids did not make the team, and we had to learn to live with disappointment, work harder and develop our sk**ls if we really wanted to be on the team. Look at what my generation accomplished and look at what being PC has accomplished. Enough said?

Fascinating how an innocent and funny thread like this could invoke such vituperate responses, which here, I suppose, is political correctness. Or at least the standard.
If I were asked for a definition of political correctness, I would refuse to answer on the grounds I might hurt someone's feelings.
One of the early examples PC was when garbage men got renamed sanitation engineers; loved that one. But having some sensitivity to how others feel--meaning basic civility, decency, and respect for others--should not be confused with "blanding out" of everything we say usually from the fear of not appearing open-minded or of not having superior concern for possibly offending others.
