Anytime FACTS are presented that refute the "wishful thinking" of some, the person presenting the FACTS is attacked. As though debunking the person, changes the FACTS.

Rational adults will look at the facts and THEN make up their mind. Too many here on 1pp do the opposite, and then try desperately to distract from conflicting FACTS.

It is difficult to have rational discussions with such persons. FACT: the keystone pipelines SOLE purpose is to make money.
Frequent answer: Well, your Mother wears Army boots! or some such other childish response. It is not POSSIBLE to have a conversation with them.

I assume you are taking a swipe at me???

There isn't any point in arguing with someone, so purely partisan, who "thinks" he does his research, and truly believes that only one side of the political leadership is corrupt,,,, THAT is the clearest indication, that the i***t has done ZERO research, because he is only looking, for that which pleases HIM. Look into to Pelosi, reid, Maxine waters, barney frank, and that scumbag from nyc cant recall his name.

You're assumption is only partly right. My observation was about 96% of the posters on 1pp. Few can agree on anything because they have made up their minds BEFORE doing any research. When FACTS aren't readily available, spurious suggestions, supposition and vitriol are substituted. Filtering information is an iron clad method of remaining ignorant. T***h is not a province of politics, it SHOULD influence politics, but - obviously does not.

Then your statement is 90% wrong, especially in this case, where a man, in his opening thread simultaneously STATES and NEGATES his own premise, hurls insults (mispelled of course) at anyone who holds any other "opinion",, and of course doesnt recognize it!!

Instead of the "intellectual Challenge" he claims to be, he is the equivalent of a loudmouthed drunk at a bar talking politics,,, who hits himself in the head with his own beer mug, falls off off his chair, then jumps up and wants to fight, whoever hit him!

Topping it all off is that he isnt drunk and still doesnt get it.

The Main ( Political Discussion ) John Boehner and the Keystone XL Pipeline Connection was the topic. I suggest you find out what Members of Congress, Republican or Democrat, that are in the HIP POCKETS OF THE BIG OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY AND THE KOCH BROTHERS. It is all about Money and Politics and Nothing Else.

You are correct. The issue concerned investments Boehner has made in companies that stand to gain from the approval of the pipeline. With Boehner being the Speaker of the House, he is in the position to push efforts and legislation that favor approval of the pipeline, and that's exactly what he has been doing. While his investments may not be illegal, they are definately unethical and immoral.

Here is the site that shows where the oil, gas and coal political contributions are going.
