I do see him as peace loving. He abhors the Radicals as much, if not more, than do I. I don't condemn ALL Muslims, but I DO condemn those that fail to speak out against the Radicals.

I don't always pen Radical Jihadist Muslim when posting. If one follows my postings, as evidently do you, one would be quite aware of the differentiation I often make. I don't do it each and every time, nor will I. Those that fail to call out their own for their dastardly deeds, in my opinion, may acknowledge and concur with their activities.

I find this article extremely slanted. The comment President Obama made explains that freedom of religion should be expected and given to all.
After all, this country began because the people who came here were escaping from places where they were not allowed this freedom. The future of the world definitely would depend on those who allow others to follow their religion.
Obama has had quite a religious education throughout his life and has the inside knowledge of the three or four major religions. He has lived in Muslim countries, Islamic countries and Christian countries. He has chosen Christianity for himself but holds no disdain for other religions. This is the way we should all think and behave.
Now there always will be extremists. But, I would like to point out that Pope Francis has stated that he has read the Koran and it does not advocate war on other religions. Some people were up in arms saying that he should never have read read that book. He is an intelligent man and has gained insight into a world that is different from the one he is presently leading but he has a better understanding of people everywhere. The complainers are actually complaining against knowledge.
I certainly believe that the more we know about various religions and philosophies, the better we can deal with life on this globe.
I allow everyone the right to practice their own philosophy and I also consider that I have that same right.
