Yes he needs to get his orders from Putin in private.
Trump could be one of the leaker's after all he revealed the location of two of our subs, and gave the Russians classified information at his closed door meeting with them

The answer is very clear as to why Kushner would ask for a 'secret' channel. Because our 'government' is stacked with Liberals who blab everything to everybody. It would be nice to be able for our leader to be able to speak with another leader in private. There's no need for the entire world to know what the discuss until THEY announce wh**ever it is they've come up with.

The thing is, it even surprised the Russians. I don't think they believed how quickly they were able to turn him, Trump, into Putins puppet. You've got to hand it to them, they sure know what they are doing...

The question you posed;
"why would Kushner want a secret (back channel) communications channel with the Russians".

Duh: How about because everthing going through official channels is constantly being comprimised

by selective leaks!

Now, the FACT that it was NOT Kushner that proposed this "communication channel",

it was in FACT ambassador Kislyak.

Also relevant, as no such communication channel was established, as proposed by the Russian government,

the Trump administration, never approved of, or implemented, this "communications channel".

John Kelley just stated on national television, that he saw no problem with such a "back channel"

communications channel.

Now would you care to discuss the subject of "back channel commuications" in reguards to the Cuban Missile Crises?

Or perhaps you would like to discuss the lack of leaked information coming out of the State Dept.

after president Trumps' purge.

I am sure that after you posted this garbage, you will not want to discuss F**E NEWS STORIES!

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump's son-in-law and trusted aide Jared Kushner may have discussed creating a secret communications channel between the Trump t***sition team and the Kremlin with Russia's ambassador Sergei Kislyak, The Washington Post reported Friday, citing US officials briefed on intelligence reports.

The claim comes from intercepts of conversations between Russia's ambassador and Moscow.

Kislyak reportedly told higher-ups in Moscow that Kushner suggested the proposal in a meeting at Trump Tower -- which former national security adviser Michael Flynn also attended -- in December. Kushner "suggested using Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States for the communications," the Post reported.

The idea was to have Flynn "speak directly with a senior military official in Moscow to discuss Syria and other security issues," The New York Times reported, citing three people with knowledge of the discussion.

Reached Friday, an administration official said there would be no comment on the latest Kushner report.

However, Washington Post reporter Adam Entous said there is a chance that Russia could have intentionally exaggerated what happened in the meeting.

"Kislyak has a good reputation in terms of the accuracy of his reporting, according to the officials that I've talked to," Entous, one of three reporters who wrote the article, told CNN's Pamela Brown on Friday. "That being said, ... adversaries to the United States routinely put false information into their communications. Sometimes they do so in order to see if the Americans are in that channel."

CNN has not yet confirmed the Post's report.

However, earlier this year, in March, CNN reported Kushner had "relationship meetings" with Kislyak and with Russian banker Sergey Gorkov to discuss issues like sanctions. The t***sition team was looking for ways to establish a back channel to Putin, a source told CNN.

The FBI's investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 e******n is looking at Kushner's multiple roles in the Trump administration, CNN reported Thursday.

Reuters, citing seven current and former US officials, also reported Friday that Kushner had previously undisclosed contacts with Russia's ambassador -- including two phone calls between April and November of 2016.

However, officials told Reuters -- and have previously told CNN -- that so far they have not seen evidence of wrongdoing or collusion between the Trump administration and Russia.
"There may not have been anything improper about the contacts," the law enforcement official told Reuters.

Kusher's attorney Jamie Gorelick said his client "has no recollection of the calls as described."

"Mr Kushner participated in thousands of calls in this time period. He has no recollection of the calls as described," Gorelick said in a statement to CNN. "We have asked (Reuters) for the dates of such alleged calls so we may look into it and respond, but we have not received such information."

CNN's Jeff Zeleny contributed to this report.

We will see who has the last laugh. Along with Bill, their souls will hang in the charcoal of fire like roast pigs forever. Then the terrorists along with her in agony. With 91 dead on her hands, are you so proud of her then? Be careful once you make mistake, you must end up dead like Seth Rich.

If Kislyak proposed the channel then why did he deny it and, in fact, act surprised? I suspect that this is one story that T***p w*n't be able to walk away form--after all you are talking about leaks being the reason and this action was taken well before any leaks had occurred. This is a case where excuses are being made that just don't stick. If he wanted a backdoor channel then his own embassy in Moscow would have worked just as well--and if he was worried about leaks then simply fire anyone associated with past administration and put his own people in there. After all, I understand that it's Obama's people who are doing the leaks so the sooner he gets rid of them the better.

As for f**e news--first off this isn't, nor is it garbage--it is instead dozens of questions all being begged at the same time. You guys need to start spinning some f**e news you really do else you risk that the t***h is going to continue to dominate the news cycle--and for Trump and his minions the t***h is the last thing they need to be discussing....

Why would it matter who approached who--he would still be at the center of trying to set up secret communications line with the Russians. I notice the one thing you didn't say was that Kushner refused to talk with the Russians. Wanna buy a bridge. I have a beautiful one in Moscow that I can sell you real cheap. I'll have Jarad set it up for you...
