The question posed is why would Kushner want a secret communication channel with the Russians. No matter, this is just more red meat for the FBI and Robert Mueller. Every time the dust seems to be settling down something else is exposed to stir it back up.

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump's son-in-law and trusted aide Jared Kushner may have discussed creating a secret communications channel between the Trump t***sition team and the Kremlin with Russia's ambassador Sergei Kislyak, The Washington Post reported Friday, citing US officials briefed on intelligence reports.

The claim comes from intercepts of conversations between Russia's ambassador and Moscow.

Kislyak reportedly told higher-ups in Moscow that Kushner suggested the proposal in a meeting at Trump Tower -- which former national security adviser Michael Flynn also attended -- in December. Kushner "suggested using Russian diplomatic facilities in the United States for the communications," the Post reported.

The idea was to have Flynn "speak directly with a senior military official in Moscow to discuss Syria and other security issues," The New York Times reported, citing three people with knowledge of the discussion.

Reached Friday, an administration official said there would be no comment on the latest Kushner report.

However, Washington Post reporter Adam Entous said there is a chance that Russia could have intentionally exaggerated what happened in the meeting.

"Kislyak has a good reputation in terms of the accuracy of his reporting, according to the officials that I've talked to," Entous, one of three reporters who wrote the article, told CNN's Pamela Brown on Friday. "That being said, ... adversaries to the United States routinely put false information into their communications. Sometimes they do so in order to see if the Americans are in that channel."

CNN has not yet confirmed the Post's report.

However, earlier this year, in March, CNN reported Kushner had "relationship meetings" with Kislyak and with Russian banker Sergey Gorkov to discuss issues like sanctions. The t***sition team was looking for ways to establish a back channel to Putin, a source told CNN.

The FBI's investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 e******n is looking at Kushner's multiple roles in the Trump administration, CNN reported Thursday.

Reuters, citing seven current and former US officials, also reported Friday that Kushner had previously undisclosed contacts with Russia's ambassador -- including two phone calls between April and November of 2016.

However, officials told Reuters -- and have previously told CNN -- that so far they have not seen evidence of wrongdoing or collusion between the Trump administration and Russia.
"There may not have been anything improper about the contacts," the law enforcement official told Reuters.

Kusher's attorney Jamie Gorelick said his client "has no recollection of the calls as described."

"Mr Kushner participated in thousands of calls in this time period. He has no recollection of the calls as described," Gorelick said in a statement to CNN. "We have asked (Reuters) for the dates of such alleged calls so we may look into it and respond, but we have not received such information."

CNN's Jeff Zeleny contributed to this report.

The answer is very clear as to why Kushner would ask for a 'secret' channel. Because our 'government' is stacked with Liberals who blab everything to everybody. It would be nice to be able for our leader to be able to speak with another leader in private. There's no need for the entire world to know what the discuss until THEY announce wh**ever it is they've come up with.

Washington Post, New York Times, CNN, and MSNBC all four developed a narrative, and put it on repeat, repeat, repeat. It's always the same four repeating the exact same garbage. Always. Do you not see a pattern here? Maybe you're too smart in your own mind to even consider that.
This is more made up, exaggerated crap.

How many people now have "forgotten" to reveal communications with Russian agents, 6? Manafort, Flynn, Sessions, Kushner and others. Why should we allow people who can't fill out a simple form accurately, to have ANY roll in the Government of the most powerful Nation on the planet?

If all these people had such lapses in memory - that is a danger in and of itself. If the VP was so distracted and disinterested in the details, to have overlooked all this AND the warnings personally given by the FBI and others - then HE is a danger to himself and others. If POTUS is so uninformed, disinterested or incapable of knowing what his staff is doing - then HE is the most dangerous of all.

Whether any collusion is proven or not, the bulk of what is KNOWN about this administration - should scare the living s**t out of everyone.

So what? That was to avoid hacking by t*****rs.

What need to be investigated and prosecuted are the massive crimes of Hillary and Obama. This Kushner call is to divert attention of who the real k**ler of Seth Rich, who I think are the democrats and Clintons because it was reported that Rich t***sported 40,000 emails to WikiLeaks. The Clintons/democrats have to stop him.
So we now know that Clinton emails have nothing to do with the Russians. It was an inside job. Rich I believe could no longer stand and witness the massive crimes going on and done by the Clintons, and the democrats. It needs to stop. But it caused his life.

Then president Trump and WE the American people, (not you, you are a Muslim), must sue for damages, the time and money of the taxpayers' spent. Not a tip of the iceberg, they could find from the Russians. Now, Seth Rich is dead, the best witness on the case of the Clinton's criminal activities.
