LJ, everyday should be Fathers Day. Don't need a special day. Every day Fathers should be stepping up to raise their next generation. Moms are very important but it's Fathers that steer the ship on the straight and narrow. I know this because I'm a dad. Happy Moms Day. MIke

I think you are absolutely correct. That is why a couple needs to be one man and one woman to be able to raise the children in a balanced manner.

BB, you are so right. Women are way more stronger than men when it comes to kids and especially when Dad isn't involved, It's rough on both the Mom and the kids. But I will still say it takes a man to direct kids in the right direction. Of course there are exceptions. Mike

You kmow this because it is true..Every day is Fathers Day for those whom want it, many do not, leaving the mother to assume both roles...A sad reality of life and yet, I do feel more care, and are coming back to the family values we lost by having both parents out working just to make it and children left to fast foods, computer games and shut off from every day interaction with friends instead of some computer or phone or games etc..

You're a good man Mike as are many in here! You do make a difference, as do mothers.......

I guess a continuation of my previous post. I would love to have the knowledge my mother had a long and happy life and that she could know that I did OK and how much I have missed her for the past 80 years. I've heard the grief lessens over time but I don't know about that. When is that supposed to start?

It turns from grief to longing and missing and loving them even more.. It never really comes or leaves, it is in how you chose to manifest her before you..

From what you say, En, I think you are right where you should be with all of it..Nor will it change but your inner self does... We all have our ways..It appears Yours was slowly embedded and slowly absorbed.. Nothing wrong with that..

You know where she is and I believe she sees you everyday...She does because she is part of you.. You are her legacy and from what you have shared I'd say rather outstanding!!!
