Personal Venting...

I am PO beyond anything I can express. Someone k**led my horses a few days ago.. No reason, came up a snowmobile trail walked over and shot them as they probably were looking for treats.. Creeps were no doubt bored of shooting insulators off power poles.. County mounties came out, looked it over, followed footprints back to the snowmobile trail, about 200 ft from my land just into the wildlife management area.. Gave me a report to file with the insurance co, if I had one and promised to keep a lookout for info on this or more of the same..Damn, only a couple of useless horses, one old near 30 yrs old with an attitude, no treat you got no attention..the other 3 yr old undersized little stallion..he would share his hopes and dreams with me..Hoped to get out of the pasture and dreamed of the hot little filly about a mile away.. No reason to shoot them and no harm being done.. How and why would anyone do this crap...OK, I am done...thanks for the vent...

I can not put into words how outraged I am at the people who shot your horses! I am an animal person, I relate better to them than most humans, and I am so sorry for your loss. Our "friends" with four legs, do not judge us and are always waiting for us with open hearts! I hope they catch the sorry sons of b*&^%es and you have an opportunity to face them.

It was probably some kids that were so bored they didn't have anything better to do. I despise people like that and I am truly sorry for your loss. Most animals trust us totally and give us their love unconditionally, yet some scum bags still find it fun to k**l these beautiful creatures just for sport. I sincerely hope they catch these creeps, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It sounds like the local law is not interested in looking very hard. If they catch them, it will probably be by accident.

Thank you Mr Ed and Duckie, I do feel a bit better now that I b***hed a lot.. And think you are right, will never catch the turds..but hope the somehow get what they deserve. Have a nice day..

I don't blame you for your outrage, this outrages me too. Horses are beautiful animals and deserve to be treated that way. I pray that the offender is caught and given double the maximum sentence.

Sorry for your loss. And yet another example of i***ts with guns, even if the guns were "legal". Too bad these i***ts did not feel contrite and guilty for their actions and shoot themselves.

Maybe you can answer a question I have had for some time about guns. Why do Hollywood people and other liberals come out against guns, yet most of them either own guns or have bodyguards that carry them? Sean Penn, one of the biggest liberals just sold 65 guns which he owned. This is typical. Why do these people preach against guns yet condone their use for themselves?
Personally I do not own a gun, however if a law abiding citizen that has never committed a crime wants or needs one, they should have the right to own one. Besides Canada's murder rate has begun to rise again after several years of declines. Their new choice of weapons, a knife.

I have no political view about guns. Like I said I don't own one. You made it political when you called them i***ts with guns. Since obviously you are liberal in your thinking I assumed you were venting against guns. If I misread your quote I do apologize.

Thanks for all the support, I was not sure about posting this, just let it go away, now I am glad I did, venting and getting support helped, I do feel less PO, resigned maybe, it is history now and done is done. I feel like Bo, this not a gun issue only some fools so stupid they can not help but do this sort of crap...
