Irondoor 827: Thank you for the article with Bernie Sanders. I am disabled and on SS and Medicare. I live in a HUD subsidized building that really scares me. I work with the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. We have joined with Progress Ohio,Fair Share,SEIU and Organizing for Action to protest at the Federal Building in downtown Columbus,Ohio on Tues at 11am. We have petitions and also a cease and desist order to present to the extremists racist Republicans. The people I live with are mainstream Republicans who act like they don't know what is going on. It seems for some reason that since they support what these Cruz people are doing that they will somehow not be affected by a defaulted economy. Guess that proves the point that the Democrats have always known more about politics than the Republicans. It seems that Republican voters just vote for whoever they think looks good to them. There is a lot of hope in Ohio that Boehner doesn't keep getting elected because the same people vote for him no matter what he does or doesn't do. He has been a lousy speaker of the house,crying does not make me feel sorry for him,and his gerrymandered district votes for him all the time. 98% of the districts in Ohio in 2010,were already majority Republican and the gerrymandering just made it worse. Franklin county looks very unlike I have ever seen any sort of map look. The only place we can start in 2014 is governor. People have got to learn when republicans say they are going to do something, like work on job creation, that is just an attempt at getting elected. Governor John Kasich got elected on that hopeful endeavor in 2010 and the voters bought it. After he was elected there was never any mention of jobs,which I think was a nation wide thing. If you are hiding with your party in a little room while the President of the United States is taking his oath of office for the 2nd time,you know the people in the room are up to no good. The shutting down of the government was done there and also the not raising the debt ceiling and letting the country go into default. This is being done by people who know nothing about government and how it works,only how to destroy people's lives and have the world come down around us. If the country does default, the Republicans are to blame and the people who voted for them are also to blame. There are only 2 parties that you vote for,there has never been a tea party member on any of my ballots. These people are racist extremist who hate everyone, even their own grandparents and parents. They would kill anyone for money. They don't care about the people who vote for them. And it isn't about the Affordable Care Act anymore. It is about a 26% rating in any poll,and they don't really know what that means. They don't know what this is about anymore except money. No longer can the Republicans be trusted and the little idiot from Texas who became a Sen and is running the show now,will eventually be strung up and hung. Why do you conservatives call people names? You got your tea parties, the rule of the house, the people you elected in the house,even though you pay them well for doing nothing, they play golf a lot and by now they should play very well. You are very generous in letting your parties offenders stay in office when those Dems do wrong,they have to quit. I don't know why the republicans want to impeach Obama. The only reason they haven't is they are trying to think of a reason. I went to a rally for the ACA last night and the Heritage members are the rudest bunch of people I have ever had the displeasure to see. They drove their Rolls,BMW's and Mercedes into the parking lot to meet with liar DeMint. One woman told us we should get a job. That is who she thinks the health care is for,people who don't work. I told her I was disabled and didn't have a "sugar daddy" like her. The rich. The don't want to pay a little extra so people can have health care. Never in my life would I want to be a conservative. I am an American because I was born here. At times I question as to whether I am proud to be an American, due to the out pour of negative things that can be said about our elected officials. I don't approve of the way that President Obama has been treated as our Commander in Chief. There is a respect that should be given to a person who the people elect to run this country. But this is what our constitution allows with the 2nd amendment, freedom of speech. I just think that the 2nd amendment has been used to make all language alright to say. The President can't do as much as he would like, due to the way the Congress has acted, which at this time has the worst record in history for not doing anything that they were elected to do.
