Mathew 25:14-30 (For those afraid of charging interest):

Parable of the Three Servants

14 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone. 15 He gave five bags of silver[a] to one, two bags of silver to another, and one bag of silver to the last—dividing it in proportion to their abilities. He then left on his trip.

16 “The servant who received the five bags of silver began to invest the money and earned five more. 17 The servant with two bags of silver also went to work and earned two more. 18 But the servant who received the one bag of silver dug a hole in the ground and hid the master’s money.

19 “After a long time their master returned from his trip and called them to give an account of how they had used his money. 20 The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’

21 “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together![b]’

22 “The servant who had received the two bags of silver came forward and said, ‘Master, you gave me two bags of silver to invest, and I have earned two more.’

23 “The master said, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’

24 “Then the servant with the one bag of silver came and said, ‘Master, I knew you were a harsh man, harvesting crops you didn’t plant and gathering crops you didn’t cultivate. 25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth. Look, here is your money back.’

26 “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, 27 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’

28 “Then he ordered, ‘Take the money from this servant, and give it to the one with the ten bags of silver. 29 To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. 30 Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

This is how capitalism looks to the future, and Socialism wastes wealth.

I have little sensible to say. I'm looking for a bone, to be honest; something to learn.

I think you told me that or I read your comment on it. I'm still tossing the notion of humility of Spirit around in my little brain. For now, I'm thinking one who has humility of spirit will very humbly, crush your nutts if needed, all the while, being respectful about it.

I agree. I certainly can't be pushed around.

PlanetKiller on RT tried it.

Of course not, because you know I'm way more intelligent than you are............so it's no contest. You're certainly welcome to keep trying though, it's very amusing.

How do I know that? IQ test, or something? Psychic phenomenon, perhaps? Tell me, how would I know that? Your words certainly preclude any sense you are "way more intelligent" than anyone, much less myself.

Oh, by the way, if you remember, I've already "unleashed my arsenal of feminine wiles" on glaucon. It didn't work. It didn't turn him into a conservative. It didn't even turn him into a pumpkin.

Should have been one or the other, don't you think?

Being perfect as I am, I have little need for humility, but I too, will judge behavior; both republican and democratic, liberal and conservative, left or right. The behavior of our "leaders" is becoming quite suspect.

Hi, nwtk. I gotta go, soon. Hope you and others have something sensible to say, for the time being.

What do you think of "humility of spirit?" Remember, (was it you I told?), when Boehner discovered I had humility of spirit, he thought I could be pushed around. And look what happened to him.

Humility and judgment are apples and oranges. What's the difference between humbleness and humility? The Bible tells us to humble ourselves before the Lord, but mentions nothing about humility. "Humility of spirit" is word salad, meaning nothing in particular. Humility describes recognizing one's perceived status in the world, humbleness describes recognizing that we have none at all. For ALL have sinned and come short of the Glory of the Lord..........which leaves no room for humility, or judgment.

Boy, are you one cockeyed SOB. Probably spaced out on good works, like all the other Libbies.

Slick Willie seems to have weathered the storm quite well.

About your statement "conservative, somewhat conventional folks who viewed progressive social attitudes like acceptance of gays and inclusion of minorities with suspicion and fear."
I suppose you are referring to the people who get up and go to work in the morning, pay their taxes, enlist in the Armed Forces to defend the Constitution while the "minorities" you refer to hide in their safe spaces with puppies and coloring books because they are so "traumatized."

We will see how Trump's presidency proceeds after next year's elections, when Republicans are predicted to make even further inroads into Democrat territory.
You try and marginalize conservatives and Republicans; yet you ignore that irksome fact that the House, Senate and presidency are controlled by Republicans. More than 3/4 of state governments are controlled by Republicans. Local jurisdictions reflect this also.
You Liberals are losing across the board.

And very sad. Especially because there is something that can be done about it, but the Leftist/Liberals don't want to.

I keep telling the Leftist/Liberal/Democrats there is no connection between Trump and Russia. The nexus is myself: KiraSeer, otherwise known as LiberalLulu.

Of course, the fact that Trump was MY choice for president, shouldn't enter into the discussion at all, right?

Liberal Lulu I think I was. Bill Clinton got about $500,000 for a speech in Russia. The ones who paid him that much got stung.

When was that? Was it a private organization, or would you even know?

A sting operation, actually.

"In law enforcement, a sting operation is a deceptive operation designed to catch a person committing a crime. A typical sting will have a law enforcement officer or cooperative member of the public play a role as criminal partner or potential victim and go along with a suspect's actions to gather evidence of the suspect's wrongdoing. Even mass media journalists resort to sting operations to record video and broadcast to expose criminal activity.[1]

Sting operations are common in many countries, such as the United States,[2] but are not permitted in some countries, such as Sweden.[3]"

That was from Wikipedia.
