Affirmative Action was a Democratic policy, not Republican in fact Republicans are trying to get rid of it. Along with other policies, like the policy allowing people to marry whomever they want to. The Republican party is all about the fiscal life, but human's are designed to be social creatures. At least according to the bible we are.

Your right nothing should be offered differently, but what they have put on the table so far hurts the poor a lot, and that's not making feel like a Republican has my best interest. I mean allowing my health insurance company to charge me more as I get older is not something I look forward to. So as far I am concerned I would like a third choice. Just for the record Democrats have tried to put policies in place that helps blacks overcome the obstacles in their lives. Also welfare and unemployment is offered to everyone not just black people.

As you said your not that informed, it's not that the black community protects there own guilty or not. It's that the police and the black community have a history and it's not a good history. Black people have seen the police stand by and watch as a mob set fire to a black persons home, beat up and/or kill them. They have seen officers beat up black people and nothing is said or done about it. Social media has brought this to the forefront because before people thought it was just these officers in my city. Then they find out no, it's happening else where. I know white people have been shot and killed by police as well, but from what I've seen the police don't seem as scared for their life, if the prep is white as opposed to black or brown. I've seen white people argue with police and the officer just gets bothered but seem to get upset when the person is black or brown like they have no right to question their authority. I've seen officers not show respect to black and brown people which should always be shown until that person shows they don't deserve that respect. I think that police officers need to be trained that the community they patrol are their customers like it or not and should be shown the respect.

Now as for Mr. Williams speech I read it but didn't hear it first hand. So I ask what part of it is racist? When he talked about a black 12 year old boy being killed by police for having a toy gun in a park by himself in a OPEN CARRY STATE and no charges against the officer? When he talked about

This is what happened with music like Jazz and Rap/Hip Hop, in fact for years Rap/Hip Hop music had been called trash, but now that there are white rap artist it's good, it's great and a white artist can make more money and have more fame for a song that a black person wrote and performed. Company's have been charged with charging their black customers more for the same products, banks charging more fees for the same loans making the requirements higher for the same loans and placing a lower value on the same homes and cars of there white counter parts. Calling a 12yr old boy a soon to be thug saying his parents are bad for allowing him to have a toy gun, calling the parents everything outside of there name and not even having the sorrow for there loss, but if Tamir had been white the story would have a different ending.

For some reason in this country blacks are not allowed to share there pain, there experiences, they are not expected to have fear, empathy or pride. They are told get over slavery "You were not one and I was not a slave owner so get over it", but a Jewish person is not told get over the Holocaust and a white southerner is not told get over the Confederates losing the war. When blacks display civil disobedience it's called a riot, when whites display civil disobedience it's called a protest. Police fear one black man with a gun but not 11 white men with guns.

This country's real problem is that life is not being valued by others. We have people that can kill and act like it was nothing and a society that can hear this news and act like they were told 2 week old flowers died. I mean yeah we pretend to care when it's a mass shooting but most don't really care until the victim is someone close to us or ourselves

The problem was not the programs, the problem was the need for the programs. If we continue to have people making judgement calls about a whole group instead of the individual then the playing field will never be just. So don't just look at the end result of a remedy without looking at the root cause of the need for the remedy in the first place.

Racist people and actions need to be called out other wise that person or action is deemed okay. That's how behavior is learned. So if your seeing someone being racist and don't say nothing then your approving the behavior.

No one is stopping you from speaking your beliefs, just know that if someone believes that it's racist, then you can't censor them no more than they can censor you. If your views or beliefs are racists and you don't like it being called out then consider a different view or belief.

5. As for Television Networks again created because black's were not represented on MTV, FOX, NBC, ABC, CBS. The same for Spanish speaking people. It's all about Demand and Supply if your not willing to fill a need then someone else will.
6. As for White Pride Parades you did have them, but the KKK rally's messed that up for you.
7. White history is taught from Jan thru Dec but non-white history is only taught during periods of the year.
So in conclusion you have to realize that this country is not always nice or fair to anybody other than White men more specifically Rich White Men. The problem is there is a system that tells you that black and brown people are your problem by showing you some differences and then they tell you elect these people and laws will be created that will hurt them, not realizing that it will hurt you as well.
By the way what rights have you lost?
