Great story! Two things struck me: the speech was 20 years ago and it's gotten worse. The difference, I believe people are now "awake" to see it and are working to change it. Tons of opposition though but it's important to continue the fight.

The idea is not to protect us from the Federal government, although that may be our future, it's the fact that criminals will ALWAYS find guns becuase they DONT follow the law. Gun control only prevents law abiding citizens from protecting themselves. Just look at Chicago, strictest gun laws in the country and the most deaths from guns and record numbers of people being shot. I as a citizen am not willing to wait 10 minutes for a cop to get there if I'm being shot at. I'd be dead. There are 26,000 insidents s a year that go unreported where a good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun. It goes unreported becuase it doesn't fit the MSM agenda. As a conservative woman, I no longer feel safe walking the streets of America with the current political climate so I have a carry permit and a gun.
