Looks like two different ATF sources have differing accounts of the history of the weapon in question. Would be difficult to determine if the weapon in the AP story is the same one as in the ZH story since serial numbers are not provided.

A Report of Investigation (ROI) filed by a case agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tracked the gun used in the Paris attacks to a Phoenix gun owner who sold it illegally, “off book,” Judicial Watch’s law enforcement sources confirm. Federal agents tracing the firearm also found the Phoenix gun owner to be in possession of an unregistered fully automatic weapon, according to law enforcement officials with firsthand knowledge of the investigation.

You know, we talk about the distant past which could be thousands or hundreds of thousands of years. Yet, there is speculation that the earth has been around for billions of years. A man is driving down a deserted
stretch of highway when he notices a sign out of the corner of his eye...
