Might I suggest that being Christian is nothing to be a shamed of. Ecclesiastes3:8 is not approval for the vagaries of humankind but simply a listing of what will happen. "A time for war" is not a thumb's up by God for such misery and chaos but a mere observation that it will happen by "fallen creatures." God is order. War is not.

That is what I expected from you, no real exchange. Personally, I would let Hitler speak at all our universities. Know your enemy. But having a discerning mind is not part of admissions. Still, not allowing free speech is a greater threat than anything an ugly bigot like Coulter might say. Let her talk. Let people see how truly inhumane are her ideas. The unstable will have found a light in her words but most will have discovered the darkness in her thinking, becoming more determined and energized to oppose such oppressive measures by the Right.

If you were a combat vet and intimately knew of war's often senseless horrors, cruelty, and injustice, you should be willing to lay down your life for peace. Peace is what you need to do, not kill. Not enough blood yet or innocent's slain? Really? Ready to do it again? On fellow Americans? Hard to imagine a worse piece of shit who thinks that way.

It is a curious dilemma. What Ann Coulter and other alt-right people want to say directly endangers the safety and freedom of some people. The alt-right takes it as a warning to America, the targeted people as a threat, and loonies as an invitation to violence. When people like Trump, Bannion, Coulter et al make a certain ethnic group "less than" for whatever reason, it gives sanction or approval to act against that ethnic group. Hate crimes against Muslims and "brown" people are up nearly 2000% since Trump started running for office, steadily increasing during his run for president. There is now this general sense these people are bad. Ergo, mistreating them is patriotic. These ideas inculcate themselves into everyday life. It is a disease.

GOOD VS. EVIL

CIVIL WAR AND THE CONTROLLED OPPOSITION

Jesse Lee Peterson Sounds Off On 'Spiritual Battle' Raging Across America

April 30, 2017 ~ World Net Daily

I Have Warned For 27 Years Since Being Aware: There Is a War Between GOOD And EVIL!!

Violent liberal riots recently shut down Milo Yiannopoulos’s speech in Berkeley. Trump supporters showed up some weeks ago to rally for free speech. Fights broke out as liberals attacked, and police stood down. Mere threats of violence canceled Ann Coulter’s speech last week. The failing New York Times blamed the victims: conservative speakers. But a growing number of conservatives aren’t taking it anymore.

This war is not about “racism,” although whites are truly hated due to liberal scapegoating. It’s not about “sexism,” although males are manipulated to think and feel like women, and are punished when they don’t.

The war on whites by those who hate America, and the war on men by those who hate masculinity, is neither about race nor sex, but about power. The intent is to weaken the people who represent good – often white men – so they sink to the moral level of angry blacks, angry Hispanics and liberal women, so no good example remains to stand in the way of the wicked. This evil campaign has been largely successful, until Trump.

We could see the country’s division during the close, controversial election of George W. Bush. Because of his weakness in not defending himself, because he catered to political correctness, that division only grew, which brought us Obama.

During Obama’s presidency, liberals complained that “racist” Republicans didn’t let him do anything, while conservatives complained that cowardly Republicans refused to stop Obama for fear of being called “racist.” Barack exacerbated the divide like no other president in history, spreading lies and justifying hate against men of authority (including police and good men like Sheriff Joe Arpaio).

When Donald Trump emerged, even some “conservatives” called him a divider. But he divides the way Christ divided – with the truth. He exposed the lie within once-trusted conservatives, do-nothing politicians, the controlled opposition in our midst.

Actually, anyone with anger can be controlled, and is controlled opposition – one who pretends or wants to fight for good, but due to weakness actually helps the side of evil.

But Donald Trump is also a uniter with the truth like no other president I’ve seen: As a man of strength without anger, he won over supporters from young people, libertarians, tea-party leaders, blacks, Democrats, even Bernie Sanders socialists. I commented a year ago how he beautifully preached unity at Liberty University, and he urged Christians to band together and support one another.

Today, we are in a spiritual war. Evil has grown and come out in the open like never before in America.

Homosexuals and drag queens are out in public, backed by politicians and judges, suing Christians, forcing us to pretend they’re right. Black Lives Matter, supported by the media and Obama, brazenly hurl false accusations against whites and police, even inciting murder. Illegal aliens, blacks and Antifa communists assault Trump supporters in the streets. Yet mainstream media pretend Trump and his supporters are the hateful ones. The “fake news” media reported a spike in “hate crimes” that ended up being liberal hoaxes, and they gave precious little attention to correcting the record.

Whites, Christians and men feel angry at the insanity, injustice and demonization against them. But I strongly urge against this: With anger, you will lose.

I told Owen Shroyer of InfoWars how much fun I’m having: This is the best time to be alive in America. Evil clearly reveals itself now, but because I forgave my mother and father, I am completed within, and I have perfect peace and no doubt. I deal with evil in the world, but it never gets to me. I sleep like a baby each night after a good day fighting evil.

It’s not just a “battle of ideas” to convince other people, nor a physical fight, although we wield the truth and should protect ourselves. It’s a spiritual battle. With anger, you become the enemy you’re trying to fight – because anger is of your father, the devil.

I interviewed white advocate Jared Taylor about the Alt-Right. He said that some in the Alt-Right are so rabidly anti-feminist that they get accused of hating women. He said some blame Jews for the anti-white direction of the country, many being angry at feeling unfairly villainized from a young age by academia, media and government propaganda.

I pointed out that anger does no one any good. Young whites who blame Jews act like blacks who blame “white supremacy” for their plight. Everybody failing in life blames somebody else. In reality, their parents let them down. They must forgive and fight with love, not hate. There will always be evil people doing evil things. But there is never justification for anger.

If we are to win this civil war in America, we on the side of good must ourselves become good, not angry and blaming the liberal media, politicians who betray us, nor anyone or anything else. Then we will see clearly to hold media and politicians accountable, as Trump does. Then we can become the leaders that we need.

Order Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson’s book, “The Antidote: Healing America from the Poison of Hate, Blame, and Victimhood.”

This was not written as parody by a SNL writer? This goombeldigook is supposed to be taken seriously? The man is unhinged thinking Trump is holding the media "accountable": Trump is busy undermining a Free Press.

"But there is never justification for anger."
The above statement is incredibly idiotic. There is always justification for anger. Jesus was angry with the Pharisees misleading the Jews. God was angry with the state of the world in the time of Noah. Was their anger "unjustified"?

Love it when it is too overwhelmingly and in your face true that the Right is incapable of responding. There is no defense. Fox News, with their persistent hate- and fear-mongering, busily undermining our democracy for the Elite, is seen for what they are: cheap bigots with an axe to grind.

Obviously you are not paying attention. It matters to Trump where he fell on the "electoral score board." It was not irrelevant to him. He has lied about it numerous times. Highly relevant to this narcissist. And he lied about the attendance at his inauguration on countless occasions. Not irrelevant to him. Wounded pride. I am not spinning "irrelevant shit," Trump is. "Greatest Electoral victory." Not even close. Trump's win falls in the lower--the LOWER!--fifth of electoral wins by presidents.
"Greatest Inauguration Crowd." Not even close. 2008 Obama had him by an estimated million. Better than Trump by a million.

The lies about these two things, easily exposed, never mind the lies about a few hundred other things, don't matter to many on the right. Facts have little relevance to them. They do no bother to use reasonable arguments, find supporting facts, or employ critical thinking to dispute attacks on the president. The attacks do not matter to them even if they are true. Especially if they are true. Hate has the big seat at the table and that is all that matters to them. Why bother arguing with these Lefties? Just insult. No brainer. And here we are OPP.

Those hippies are the same ones who believed in sex with anyone at any time, then they were all in favor of abortions......and that negated their "baby killers" LIE. They became the baby killers of all time, and they were too stupid to see that. Those hippies were worthless trash, an embarrassment to all decent Americans.

It would be good to read John Erlichman's comments, actually a confession, on how the Nixon administration invented ("lied about," his words) the severity of the marijuana use for hippies and heroin use for blacks to begin the "war on drugs." The Right always has a problem with protest and always demonize the protesters. Very curious for supposed Constitution-lovers: that right is central to our liberty. I got spat on at Idlewild Airport in 1968 when I returned from overseas. It was after eleven at night and very few people. Just lucky, I guess. It was a couple dressed much like you would expect: it was the woman who did the deed. The war (conflict, lol) was wrong and a heinous act by our country. I knew this then. That fact takes nothing at all away from the good men who gave their blood, sweat, and lives in Viet Nam. Our government screwed us. The Hippies were not wrong to protest. She was not wrong to spit.

To the Right, the term Hippie means an homogeneous group of doped up, dirty, sex addicts, and sycophants with commie roots and no values. That is simply not true to reality but perfectly true to how Republicans wanted them to be seen. Easy to hate and dismiss. Nixon's engine of disinformation worked overtime in disenfranchising this voice of protest. I was there, returned home and a marshal for the Friend's Society at organized protests. I did not agree with either side for the very reason neither side wanted to listen. Both had valid points. Without the extremist rhetoric, I believed a workable resolution was possible. But no one budged.

The Clinton campaign was undone by its own neglect and a touch of arrogance, staffers say--47hj.,b43
In the closing weeks of the presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton’s staff in key Midwest states sent out alarms to their headquarters in Brooklyn. They were facing a problematic shortage of paid canvassers to help turn out the vote.
For months, the Clinton campaign had banked on a wide army of volunteer organizers to help corral independents and Democratic leaners and re-energize a base not particularly enthused about the election. But they were volunteers. And as anecdotal data came back to offices in key battlegrounds, concern mounted that leadership had skimped on a critical campaign function.
Several theories have been proffered to explain just what went wrong for the Clinton campaign in an election that virtually everyone expected the Democratic nominee to win. But lost in the discussion is a simple explanation, one that was re-emphasized to HuffPost in interviews with several high-ranking officials and state-based organizers: The Clinton campaign was harmed by its own neglect.
Desperate for more human capital, the state party and local officials ended up raising $300,000 themselves to pay 500 people to help canvass in the election’s closing weeks. “They had staff on the ground and lots of volunteers, but they weren’t running a massive program because they thought they were up 6-7 points,” said the aforementioned senior battleground state operative.
Clinton herself has blamed FBI Director James Comey for re-launching an investigation into her emails only to clear her days before the vote; while operatives across the spectrum, including former President Bill Clinton in the campaign’s closing days, argued that she failed to adequately reach working class white voters that had been drifting away from the Democratic Party.
The more universal explanation, however, was that the data that informed many of the strategic decisions was simply wrong. A campaign that is given a game plan that strongly points to success shouldn’t be expected to rip it up. “We all were blinded, and even at the end, we were blinded by our own set of biases,” said Paul Maslin, a Madison-based Democratic operative and pollster.
On the margins as well, campaign operatives say the Clinton campaign’s failure to have a footprint did real harm. In Pennsylvania, for example, the campaign had a healthy canvassing operation and was flush with volunteers, many of whom poured in from New York City and Washington, D.C. But according to one longtime grassroots campaign operative who was involved in the 2016 cycle, leadership was focused predominantly on turning out their own voters and not on persuading others to come on board.
This was a perfectly logical strategic decision, considering the massive voter registration advantage that Democrats enjoy in the state. But it meant that the Clinton campaign wasn’t able to anticipate the surge in Trump support in the rural areas because they weren’t having conversations with voters there.
“Paid canvassers compensate for candidates who don’t have a huge volunteer base,” said the grassroots campaign operative. “Hillary Clinton had [a huge volunteer base]. It just wasn’t always in the places they needed it to be.”

I see. Wikileaks and Fox News spouting an indictment was on the way had nothing to do with it? Judge Napolitano "professionally assessing" nearly everyday for weeks that Hillary would be indicted had nothing to do with it? The FBI violating policy to say a few weeks before the election that more emails were being investigated and a Fox News feature newscaster saying an indictment was forthcoming...then walking that back and eventually apologizing a day later for "mis-speaking" (lying?) during two days of early voting had nothing to do with it? Trump's spokesperson said it all: "The damage has been done." And it was.
