All of us should read this carefully, learn from our elders and then look in a mirror and judge today:

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded sense of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse... A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares about more than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. As long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing, when need is, to do battle for the one against the other.” — John Stuart Mill (1806-1873), “The Contest In America,” Fraser's Magazine, February 1862

"I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people, except for a few public officials."
— George Mason, in Debates in Virginia Convention on
Ratification of the Constitution, Elliot, Vol. 3, June 16, 1788

"The militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves, ... all men capable of bearing arms;..."
— "Letters from the Federal Farmer to the Republic", 1788 (either Richard Henry Lee or Melancton Smith).

"Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom? Congress shall have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American ... The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the People."
— Tench Coxe, 1788.

Stupidest crap ever written. Want me to break it down so you can see why? The overwhelmingly simplistic and erroneous us/them of his thinking. Jesus saw it differently; I tend to side with his view as more convincing. Want to know why?

If you were a combat vet and intimately knew of war's often senseless horrors, cruelty, and injustice, you should be willing to lay down your life for peace. Peace is what you need to do, not kill. Not enough blood yet or innocent's slain? Really? Ready to do it again? On fellow Americans? Hard to imagine a worse piece of shit who thinks that way.

Might I suggest you check out Ecclesiastes 3:8 and look at your own hate..... :Yes, you are a ignorant fool and proud of it!

Shame on you!

Might I suggest that being Christian is nothing to be a shamed of. Ecclesiastes3:8 is not approval for the vagaries of humankind but simply a listing of what will happen. "A time for war" is not a thumb's up by God for such misery and chaos but a mere observation that it will happen by "fallen creatures." God is order. War is not.

All our combat vet is saying is he has already subjected himself to a violent death in combat to preserve our country and our way of life. That way of life does not include overthrowing the present Constitutional Republic form of government and replacing it with some socialist, communist, people's workers paradise as the left is so intent on doing. As a former Marine myself, I echo his sentiments. I too, will fight with any means possible to save this republic from overthrow by the forces of leftist socialism and communism.

Semper Fi and long live the Constitutional, American Republic.
