CNN Scores Most Viewers For Democratic Convention, Fox At Bottom Of The List

Although rocked by scandal and unrest, the 2016 Democratic National Convention has received a surprisingly large number of viewers, with opening night viewership exceeding that of the Republican National Convention just one week before.

According to figures, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and a majority of other networks which carried the event all set total primetime viewer records compared against Nielsen Media Research going back over a decade.

Out of all the networks, however, CNN came out on top as No. 1 in viewership totals for the event, continuing the trend of viewers preferring cable over broadcast for convention coverage.

In the 10-11:30 p.m. Eastern Time block, which saw speeches made by Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and first lady Michelle Obama, CNN surpassed all networks for viewers aged 25-54 — a coveted bracket — and in total viewers.

CNN scored another victory in the 8-11 p.m. ET bracket as well, skyrocketing an impressive 70 percent in total prime time viewership and 70 percent in the new demographics category, compared to the same time frame in 2012.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Fox News finished towards the bottom of the pack among both cable and broadcast networks, being surpassed by MSNBC, NBC, and ABC, only managing to wedge past CBS by roughly 100,000 viewers.

While at first glance these numbers might bode ill for the Fox News Network, some would be quick to point out that the Democratic National Convention is not exactly the bread and butter of most Fox viewers.

In terms of broadcast coverage, NBC led the pack by a close margin over ABC and a rather large margin over CBS, however, NBC did significantly better than the other broadcast networks on the night of the Republican National Convention.

In total, the cable networks received a combined 12.6 million total prime time viewers during the opening night, which has surpassed the 2012 convention by nearly 4 million.

I Googled that "Convention of States" and found more support of why I have been against that THING.

When was the last Constitutional Convention? 1787 What was it called by the states to do? Consider changes in the Articles of Confederation. What was the first decision that group made upon meeting? To write a whole new document

Now why am I against this so-called Convention of States? I don't know how many libs and RINOs might be in the group that supposedly would change some things in our Constitution. It is this likelihood that I am fearful of. If a bunch like that wrote a whole new Constitution I am sure I wouldn't like the outcome. I am sure that a division of powers would be gone. I am also sure that the States would become nothing but administrative groups for federal laws passed by Congress. I much prefer to have the States remain in control of local governance not to be controlled by the federal government.

Do you still think that "Convention" would be a good one? If so I will continue to try to convince you that it may finish the destruction of the United States of America.

Party Politics, 2016, “THE FIX”:
Are we going to be served more of the same from these "two" parties? The RNC DNC Partnership?
The MSM had been touting Bush III and Clinton II from the beginning. Bush III got soundly rejected.
The DNC is trying to keep Bernie Sanders down with their “Super Delegates”. Quite the Fix.
Now the RNC is getting desperate to stop Trump at all costs. Even the destruction of their R Party/fiefdom.
The majority of Americans in both major parties are disgusted with our government “representatives”, and what is happening in America. But they keep falling for "THE FIX" every four years.
Frustration is spreading, and yet, will Americans fall for “The Fix” again. It is obvious something has to change; but what? To solve any problem, “the root cause” must be discovered, understood, exposed, and eliminated. In the realm of politics; exposing “the root cause” of America’s decline on any significant scale, has been unattainable. Almost all major media is directed and controlled by “the root cause” which sets “The Fix”.
Decade after decade, and election after election; the voters fall for “The Fix”. They either don’t vote out of disgust; or they vote for “the lesser of two evils”. These actions and non- actions have put America where it is today.
America continues on its downfall because the “voters” have not figured this out.
Give thought to “The Fix”:
The Democratic Party promotes a variety of liberals/socialists, “progressives”, and the Republican Party promotes a variety of “Conservatives”; many are covert global socialists/NeoCONS - Bush Sr. and his “New World Order” was one example.
Under both parties, our Constitutional Republic (not democracy), has been decimated. The Constitution and the principles that made our country the most prosperous, and the envy of the world, has been replaced with a semi-covert agenda for global socialism. The internationalist NWO is being put in place by both political parties. They have become a partnership with the ruling elite/Big Money.
Few Americans understand the purpose of the globalist agenda; but most politicians believe in it, or have sold out to it. That is why their oaths to uphold and defend the Constitution have been meaningless to most of them.
“The Root Cause” of our country’s decline; is the privately owned Federal Reserve System (banks), and their control of our money and economy. The perpetrators are the internationalist bankers, whose policy it is, to create a global socialist “New World Order”. With their vast wealth, main stream media control (ownership), control of “public” education, and control of the party apparatus; they are able to ensure that both parties will nominate candidates that will carry out their agenda. With this control, the people fall for “The Fix”; out of disgust they either don’t vote, or they feel compelled to vote for “the lesser of two evils”, – banker backed “A” or “B”. The voters are told; “no one else can win”, “don’t Waste your vote”. The past and current scam used on Republicans by the “ Republican” RNC/PTB, is to convince the voters of “who is the most electable against Obama”. Will it work again? It has to be someone the Bankers know is in their camp (Goldman Sach's Romney was the last selection), to ensure that their agenda is carried out by either party.
That agenda is a One World totalitarian socialist government (A New World Order); to be administered by their Council on Foreign Relations front men.

Not sure but I think its the latter; more guns chambered for the round. Also the 30/30 was established early on as the mainstay of the 'old west' starting with the dime novels and into modern books and movies like The Gun That Won The West. 150 years of strong PR helped and the name Winchester became synonymous with 30/30. My attachment is strictly sentimental. From my family history (handed down) my granddad bought the gun from a catalog about 1920 to put meat on the table. They were Italian immigrants working on the railroads in Pennsylvania and venison was plentiful and free. All about survival; nothing to do with sport.

I don't think the 30/30 will ever make it to the 'assault' rifle list simply because there is physical action required to make it work and these mass shooters being exclusively Leftist Democrats will have nothing to do with work ...
