It is also helping Trump that the dems are using every phony legal means in their playbook to try and destroy Trump, which will not work. Refer to the Spectator. I'm voting 48 times for Trump. I found a Democrat Playbook on how to do it. If we use the Democrat tactics, Trump will tally 237 million votes. The democrats aren't enthusiastic about Biden. They're just voting for abortion.

That is my theory. It's as if you took a barely literate progressive anti capitalist and transformed them into a university business graduate overnight. Out of the blue two busloads landed in the middle of our little village here. They are in a hotel out on the highway, sitting there waiting for the "next" freebie to be given them.

These hardworking farmers in my community are sick of high prices on everything they use to grow our food, and now they're being asked to pay for these freeloaders....no way! Not a soul has lifted a finger to help any of them. None of the farming families here can afford it...they can hardly even feed their own kids, never-mind strange, non-English speaking foreigners. Some of these families have been here for generations. All they know is each other. And now suddenly they are inundated with strangers from a far away land. It's a terrible dilemma for them!

Should Trump or any other Republican become president in '24 I suggest he order the roundup and deportation of all illegals currently in the U.S. Yes it will cost plenty, but it'll be a lot cheaper than allowing them to stay and multiply. We must also change the qualification for 'anchor babies' so that only those whose parents are legally in the U.S. qualify.

Izzat you, Trump?

It was such a horror show for CNN that they cancelled it 20 minutes early, rather than let Trump go on sweeping the floor with them, CNN chose to lose a lot of money by doing that!!

He reminded everyone that he is about fixing things, and this country won't survive without getting him back in the saddle and fixing the MESS we've been living in for the past two years.

It's going to get much worse before the election as these illegals invade more and more of our cities and towns.

I live in a very rural place (farmland), and there were two buses of them that landed in the center of our little town the other day. They are staying at a hotel near the highway, and our town is being billed for it at a time when people are struggling to make ends meet as things are now! Imagine when the numbers of them triple and quadruple in the coming months! They expect US to pay for them when they move into our towns. Beware of "new" taxes that will be springing up all over the place now.

Trump can't fix the miss we're in right now with these tens of millions of new illegals....but he can stop it from getting bigger!!

Yep, it was supposed to go 90 minutes, but Trump scored a TKO early and CNN had to stop the fight. Winner and still champion, Donald Trump!

The schoolgirl got schooled by Trump. Her voice became background noise trying to drown out what Trump was saying. She was a yuge disappointment to anyone anticipating that she would make a fool out of Trump.
Trump gained voters who might otherwise have never seen him.

Their fears realized. The schoolgirl who had the leash to reign in Trump failed. Trump was magnificent, bold, truthful, combative, charming, funny, prophetic, and worst of all, electable.
CNN made a yuge mistake. The monster they've painted showed up as the rightful president in a hostile setting designed to make Trump look despicable. Poor girl, maybe Fox News will hire her now. She made Trump look invincible.

Oh no! Then the lefties wouldn't have had another lever to persecute Trump. They wanted chaos. And they are setting Trump up for incarceration by finding him guilty of sedition and insurrection just like they set up and incarcerated the Proud Boys. Hey, what's fair for the Proud Boys is fair for Trump...setting off the brewing civil war.

Your article starts out with the notation that it is an "AP Assessment", which means it is their opinion.

And it starts out with the statement that "As Speaker of the House, Pelosi does not direct the National Guard."

That is true. Pelosi did not direct the National Guard.

What is misleading about that statement is that it completely misses the mark.

On January 3, 2021, President Trump made the request to have the National Guard present (there were several people present in the room as witnesses to his request) to the Pentagon (Dept of Defense). So therefore, no one asked Nancy Pelosi to direct the National Guard to do anything. They requested that APPROVAL BE GIVEN to have the Guard present that day.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

This is a very sneaky way of the AP to try to twist the meaning of what happened hierarchically when President Trump made his request on January 3.

Trump's request was MADE TO THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE at the Pentagon. The Department of Defense passed this request directly on to the Capitol Police, who passed it on to their managers,The Capitol Police Board. The Capitol Police Board is managed by the Seargeant at Arms of the House of Representatives (Nancy Pelosi) and the Seargeant at Arms of the Senate (Chuck Schumer).

IF Pelosi and Schumer never received the requests to approve having the National Guard there on January 6, that doesn't mean that they were exempt from blame that the request was denied. A Supervisor or Manager is responsible for the person or persons under them at ALL times. If the Seargeants made the decision not to have the Guard there unbeknown to Pelosi or Schumer then they were at fault for not reporting their actions to their bosses, but the ultimate responsibility for that fateful decision lies with the top manager of the "team".

Just to be very clear, here is the truth, again: Pelosi and Schumer are in charge of the Seargeants at Arms of the House and Senate, who are in charge of the Capitol Police Board who are in Charge of the Capitol Police. Whoever is in charge of the National Guard was not notified of anything at all, because the request to have them there was denied.

If President Trump's request stopped in the middle of that hierarchy and never reached the top, that is immaterial to the FACT that Trump made a request that was denied.

And it was later discovered when former Chief of the Capitol Police (Steven A. Sund) wrote a detailed letter to Pelosi on February 1, 2021 stating that the request was denied because "they were concerned about the 'optics'", according to Sund's letter.

The issue is that Trump made the request with witnesses present, and the request was denied. NOT who is in charge of the National Guard. The statement that "Pelosi blocked the National Guard from coming to lawmakers’ defense" is a bogus statement because it was not the National Guard that she "blocked" it was the REQUEST to have the Guard there on January 6 that was blocked.

This kind of twisting of the words to make it seem like something different went on is typical when people try to get around how this request of President Trump's was denied.

I know my response is repetitive in places because I have outlined this hierarchy several times both in this topic and in another one. So I feel it needs to be emphasized with repetition of the facts because people seem to want to change these facts to mean something else. But....this is exactly how things happened that day (and how things work in DC with respect to who is in charge of whom when a request like this is made.)
Your article starts out with the notation that it ... (show quote)

Deliberate misunderstanding is the basis of lefty policy.
Like when Trump said jokingly that you could grab them by the pssy, or that science find a way to inject a disinfectant, the media and the lefties still breathlessly repeat those statements as if Trump intended it. Yet, Biden gets away with biting little girls, saying things that make no sense, and dealing America away for his own profit.
