While we're on the subject, can someone explain to me how it is possible to vet a refugee who believes in a religion that teaches that it is okay to lie.

"Good post, pretty dang concise in varibles... All I can say is I hope not!!"
Me too. But we need to stop wasting all this ink in a pissing contest with liberals. They have decided to make their beds with the enemy.
It is best to ignore them and concentrate on the troubles ahead.

For the record it is Shah not Shaw of Iran who was Reza Palavi. I have a friend who took him for a ride in a USAF F-111. (But that is another story).
Background info: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1953_Iranian_coup_d%27%C3%A9tat
The current war against the US started in 1979 when the Shah was removed and Ayatolla Ruhola Khomenei took over as the "spiritual leader" of Iran.
You also must know that Iran was a largely secular, westernized country with much modern development prior to 79. Most people were happy to live that way and were not religious extremists.
They had a strong military with American equipment and Shah Palavi was a jet fighter pilot trained in the USA, as were most of their pilots.
Once the US hostages were safely back on American soil the Iranian leadership planned other attacks on western interests or supported those who did the deeds.
Here is how I think the next 12 months will go. Iran will test Trump's resolve but he will limit any response until our military is built up and our allies can be persuaded to amp up.
He also has to deal with Russia and get them to see the wisdom of stopping their support for Iran and the nuclear projects. If Putin is pragmatic he will listen and decide carefully as the expansion of the caliphate is not in their interest either.
I suspect that if hostilities erupt in a major way with Iran vs USA, China will make a move on Taiwan and North Korea will attack South Korea or possibly our country with a submarine launched missile attack on the west coast. (While China chuckles.) They will figure they can get away with this since our military will not have fully recovered from the previous 8 year draw down.
Now, for anybody that thinks it is okay to keep importing muslims into the country would you please spend a little time listening to the warnings from folks like Brigitte Gabriel?

"Trump is a diasaster." No, he is dealing with an eight year disaster called the Obama Administration. +$9 trillion and counting.
"His administration would be a joke but for the damage it can do." The joke is on you if you thought Hillary was the answer to our problems.
"I truly believe The Donald is mentally ill - a "sociopath" Take a couple deep breaths Marsha. Lay down for a while. Grab your pussy, why don't you?
"his need for import and power - at any cost " What was the Obama's net worth on entering the White House? What is it now? Trump is working for $1 a year.
"to continually lie to the American people!" Seems to me he is keeping his campaign promises. Did YOU keep your doctor and health insurance you liked? Save $2500 a year?
" He doesn't understand the qualities of a leader." Really? Watch and learn.

President Trump was inaugurated a few days before my birthday and it has been one gift after another since.
The snowflakes carrying the signs with the "F" word on it are the best thing to happen to the republican party since Jimmy Carter.
I also like the idea of bringing back the draft. (It got me in 1968) We do need to rebuild the military and why should membership in this great country club we call America be free?
Do your part, it will be good for you, and you will appreciate this country more if you sign up to defend it with your life if need be.
We know Trump doesn't require much sleep. Do you lefties know why? It's because he is laying there thinking up more ways to piss you off.
Like Trump, i have never used alcohol, tobacco or controlled substances my whole life. (Including the year I spent in Vietnam)
If I could sit in his chair for a day, my next executive order would be to inform the 27 states that have relaxed rules on Marijuana that it is still a schedule 1 controlled substance and penalties for use, transport or sales of it are still prohibited by federal law.
Wouldn't that Make America Great Again if there were no more spaced out derelict zombies roaming our streets?
So go ahead lefties, keep hollering and screaming about us having our turn to run things. We'll be laughing all the way to the bank when they get the miserable Obamacare premiums off our backs.
And thank your lucky stars I'm not your president. LOL

One other thing to consider, most Trump supporters had to work on Friday.
I watched (on TV or the Internet) the peaceful ones being spit on, hit with objects and generally molested at the checkpoints on the way to the mall. Real classy of the Soros backed Chicago communist party.
When the District of Columbia is no longer a 2nd Amendment exclusionary zone, things will be different.
And how about the trash left behind by the so called "feminists?" Another classy bunch.
Go ahead, continue your self destructive ways. we are NOT going to miss you.

"In all seriousness, it's time that a republican stepped across the isle and sided with unions and if Trump can help unions grow then without question it's a great move for the future..."

Huh? Republicans haven't stepped across the aisle into the swamp. If anything, the unions finally realized which side of their bread had the butter on it. I'd like to know what took them so long to wake up. We're not going to make America great again unless all of us prosper. It's just too bad we didn't have a responsible and sensible president like Trump a couple decades ago. We might not be in the hole we are in now. Why don't you get ahead of the curve now and switch parties? Try it, you'll like it.

I'm going to contact my state and federal reps to urge them to introduce legislation making it unlawful to accept money for staging, leading or participating in a protest.
Do it for free or stay home. In addition, should violence resulting in injury or death, or destruction of property take place, everyone participating in the event should be jailed and fined enough to recover the losses. Anyone blocking a highway should get a $10,000 fine or police should hand a form to all vehicles stopped asking them if they want to be compensated for their lost time or inconvenience. Send the bills to George Soros. He has the money to cover it.
