Simple question--given Trump's red line how soon before we are in a shooting war with Iran? I say 10 months. I think Trump is just itching to pull the trigger and Iran is by far his best target. Plus they have a full border on the ocean so we won't have the problems we faced in Afghanistan. So my bet is 10 months before the shit hits the fan and the mistakes made by baby Bush will be repeated by his royal highness. Conservatives simply lack the ability to learn and no better proof than their endless stumbling into wars...

One simple question Do you want Iran to have Nukes? Monday night quarterbacking doesn't work. Maybe if evey one was honest and transparent we could make a reasonable assessment.

It's not a question of what I want. It's a simple question--my bet is 10 months because it's going to take the military a few months to gear up for another war. Iraq doesn't give a fuk about Trump and will shoot off as many missiles as they want. Trump can't just sit there--Red lines are a mistake in the Middle East because those fukers are just dumb enough to go to war. Our problem will be who will back us up. Maybe England but not Europe and since Russia is allied with Iran war could be more problemmatic than Trump might think.
When ever it happens it will be trillions more out of our bank account and tens of thousands more terrorists created--strange how that works, the more we spend the more terrorists we create. Anyway, pity our military as once again the are going to be sacrificed to a president who doesn't know what he is doing...

How many wars? Well there was WWI. Are you saying you were against it? Then there was WWII. Do you think we shouldn't have defended ourselves? And of course there was Korea and Vietnam--is your argument that we should have rolled over for those evile commies? That leaves us with two gulf wars and neither one was to protect our nation--only Afghanistan was there a legitimate reason to invade--with the rest, the middle east would have been better off if we had stayed out--and by we I mean you war mongering conservatives...

Ooooohhhhhhh...here comes the excuses! WWII was necessary, as was Korea...but Korea was mismanaged. Vietnam should not have happened, we had no business going there. In fact, Kennedy, if he had lived, planned on pulling the advisors out of Vietnam. Afghanistan, is unwinnable, but hey your idol Obama thought it was worth staying, and obtaining more casualties than under Bush. What excuses did I make and did I make any claims about how the wars were managed. I only gave the thinking at the time, nothing more. As for Iraq--our invasion destabilized the Middle East for which we are still paying. Iran will only compound the problem and will require us to maintain a permanent military presence in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and possibly Syria. And because we are going to have to do that alone it will bleed us dry and eventually cause a collapse of our country...
Yeah, Iraq was as necessary as a bullet through the temple--the latter would have been more of a kindness...

I remember when the CIA took out an elected Iranian leader and replaced him with a despot, all in the name of British Petroleum. Iran fights ISIS. Iran wasn't involved in 9/11. Sure, we don't want them to have nukes, but hopefully we will not go to war over it. It should be simple enough to take out their missile capability. But we know for sure they are nowhere near nuclear capable.
