Thanks for sharing your memories.-- My Dad was a cowhand. My earliest memories are standing around a branding iron fire with a few other little kids eating rocky mountain oysters we thrust onto pieces of wire to cook over the coals.
I swam in an irrigation ditch that was about 40 degrees and caught thousands of trout out of those same ditches.

Some of my best memories was at the brandings. My first job was manning the “dope bucket”…….. Smearing that black tar over the dehorned area and the area where those mountain oysters were harvested from! LOL! I was the third daughter of four. My two older sisters were gone by the time I was old enough to help my Dad in the day by day running of the ranch and my baby sister was 10 years younger……..so I got Daddy all to myself! He made everyday an adventure and fun no matter what the job was or how hard we worked. Whenever we helped at one of the neighboring ranch’s during branding season I went with Daddy to help. I was always the only girl……. it seems that everyone had a son to bring except my Dad! LOL! It didn’t seem to bother him, though! And it certainly didn’t bother me! No house chores for me!

My brothers and I have, over the years, enjoyed camping at Fort Richardson State Park. As I'm sure you know, that is only a short drive slightly NW of Paradise. BTW, I have just Googled Paradise and was amazed at how beautiful the rivers and lakes in close proximity are. That is, of course, assuming the drought hasn't dried much of it up. Since my wife & I retired to Lake Whitney about 10 years ago, we rarely go RV-ing for camping purposes, unless it is available on our drives across country for visits to Family and friends.

Anytime we head to Childress to visit my sister, I will make efforts to notify you in hopes of at least a short visit with you and your husband. However, we aren't big on Childress as a destination...except for seeing my kid sister. She, at 64, is no kid, but a wonderful hostess.

He buried his ex wife on a golf course to eliminate taxes at the golf course. Her NDA was expiring soon and she suddenly falls down the stairs and kill’s herself before she is free to testify against trump.
Trump knows the tax forms he gave the irs, and the forms he gave to lenders will not match up. That’s fraud!

My goodness! You’re really “ate up with it!” as we say here in Texas!

Regarding Bob’s Meme……..

“Mueller time” is it? LOL! Yeah! All that proved was how sloppy the FBI is at covering their dumbass attempt to destroy Trump. He’s still Standing! Every day more evidence is uncovered……….Now even Bill Marr is chastising the FBI and the Democrat Party for their covering up the Hunter Laptop story! They had to keep a lid on it until after the election! Another poor low level FBI agent is being used as the scapegoat and removed instead of the corrupt “bosses” at the top that are responsible for all this criminal activity!

Bring On the whistleblowers!

Most people don't like to pay a lot of taxes, but most Americans still follow the tax laws when reporting their income. Former president, twice impeached, slippery Donny thinks he is above the law. He is willing to lie, steal, cheat to avoid paying his tax obligations. He even brags about how he could gat away with murder. His loyal followers are impressed and sucked in by his boasts.

Trump is audited every year. His tax accountants and lawyers know to make sure every single i is dotted and T is crossed! 😉 The only people that are sucked into Trumps “known and intentional” exaggerated comments are you folks that are obsessed with any and everything Trump 24/7………Bless Your ❤️

There are a lot of people who believe that a technical education is more needed than any other academic degree. We DO need more trades-people, like plumbers, steam fitters, construction and carpentry, seamstresses, electricians, and others. Generally speaking, trade students are not from the same families as academic students. They do apprentice work for their qualifications. Tech schools don't cost as much as academic schools.

Moving towards a future with a balanced workforce is good for society. Tech education is the only way to balance the workforce.

I'm happy that more students can follow their goals without racking up a ton of debt. Giving young people a chance to start their lives with something constructive will keep them out of trouble. It really comes down to, do you want to help carry students without an enormous debt load, or do you want to pay for private prisons that have no accountability?
